I'm finding it great fun. But certainly wouldn't pay full-price, can see why they went down the PS Plus route. Certainly a lot of potential for those who like the core game like me.
Think the range in scores is how much weight you put on the content available. It plays well and it's fun. Personally I just want to play it for a bit of fun every now and then, so it's great for me, but it's not going to be a game people can really get their teeth into at the moment.
Runs great on PS5!!! All be it I've only started after the 1.1 patch, but I'm loving it. Really is a great game when it runs fine. Looks good as well. Not PS5 good, but still looks nice. Also not really encountered any bugs.
My bro used stadia for Cyberpunk and other games, it's actually quite good if your not to fussy about a very slight input lag. Also they were giving away the controller and chromecast ultra for free with Cyberpunk a little while ago. I do t...
I think it's awesome if you're looking for a quick bout of fun, similar to how rocket league was. Sounds like the reviewer was looking for something else.
Very harsh review! It's bundles of fun. I wouldn't pay £50 for it, but then you need ps plus to play it and it's free for everyone on ps plus.
Yeah the dualsense feels fantastic on it. Just the jolt when I first used the shunt with the right stick in the tutorial made me go wow.
Yeah the input lag is the main downside to motion smoothing. It will vary massively how much lag you get on different TVs.
Yeah, the download speeds are so much better when you don't necessarily have long to play, or have an unexpected patch drop. I think they said the PS store is properly integrated into the system on the PS5, whereas it apparently wasn't on the PS4.
Fingers crossed you can get one, loving mine.
I think any raytracing on £450 consoles is quite impressive as it's such a system hog. Personally I don't mind too much playing at 30fps, so I'll usually go for the better graphical 30fps option over the 60fps version. Always good to have the option between performance vs graphics modes on this gen though.
Made as the same team as the Division 2 I believe, which is actually really good, so I have fairly high expectations.
@DaGR8JIBRALTAR, I only asked as I was concerned you thought the 3D audio only worked on the Pulse 3D headset, so didn't want you to waste your money.
@Hellcat2020. Sounds like you need to look into your TV settings. Start by turning sharpness and dynamic contrast off (or at least very low). Shouldn't really look wet and shiny unless it's actually wet!
Extremely good reason.
Yeah the 3D audio only works on headphones at the moment, but Sony are trying to implement a version of it into speaker setups.
Graphics look lovely. Do you have your TV/HDR settings set up correctly?
Why are you getting a 3D pulse headset if you already own Turtle Beach Stealth 700?
It will be made with first person in mind, just like Resident Evil 7. A lot of immersion comes from the detail in the environment, which is even more detailed on next gen consoles. A lot of this might be lost in 3rd person, so the option to switch between the two wouldn't be a good idea. I agree the Resident Evil 2 Remake felt quite immersive, but not anywhere near as much as Resident Evil 7 IMO.
The writer says it's not technically one of the numbered sequels? Yet it has ...
They already said it wouldn't be resolved after the first big patch. Performance doesn't seem to be much different to the Witcher 3 when it was released on PS4. It's maybe more annoying and noticeable when you're shooting in first person than using just melee in third person.
Playing Cyberpunk on my PS5 and the load times seem inconvenient now even though there are very few and it's actually pretty quick compared to PS4. Love the convenience of the load times on PS5.
