Can't wait for it. Best game ever, and best story ever written for a game.
Just trying to help people get their best experience. Some people may be alright on their default setup. Nothing can be done from Playstation's end if people's home network isn't set up well.
Making sure it's connected to the 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection and blocking other devices from using 5Ghz in your house goes a long way. Also make sure your PS5 has an ethernet connection if possible, if not possible make sure it's a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection to the PS5 also.
Need to separate out those who did the work on the game and those who forced it to be released. I'm sure nobody in the development team wanted to release the game when they did.
It wasn't the development team themselves that made the decision to release it though.
BG3 is a lot more flexible that the Divinity Games, so there's less chance you'll get stuck along the way. Also an explorer mode to make it a bit easier. A lot of mechanics to get used to, but youtube vids are your friend.
It's excellent, but a bit of a HDR bug on PS5 at the moment. Just need to turn HDR off for the time being if you get a problem with the contrast.
There's plenty of great single player games available!
@DogJosha Sony server location won't make a difference for remote play. There's so many different issues going on with different connections, how well the router handles traffic etc. Unless you know what the issue is it's a case of trying loads of things to get it to work right.
I'm sure I'll get a few more downvotes for saying this, but it is possible to get a great experience with very low latency. Standard router tech will improve down the line and handle all t...
I can't see the battery being too much of a problem because the power consumption shouldn't be too high as it's just streaming rather than processing (plus haptics).
Never used the PC version. I use an unofficial app on my phone because the official one doesn't work with a Razer Kishi. Took a bit of messing around with settings to get it working properly over WiFi, but lovely now it does. Main thing for me was making sure my phone was connecting to the 5ghz WiFi signal, and all the other devices connect to the 2.4ghz signal.
Doesn't really explain what this problem that doesn't exist is. Does it mean that there are already plenty of options for remote play? I get a pretty much flawless performance using my phone and Razer Kishi. It would be nice having a separate device for it with a bigger screen, but not £200 nice without Bluetooth.
I think Greenhell may have only confirmed it's release date yesterday?
So many good games to try. Try listening to a PSVR podcast for suggestions like Crossbutton VR. I highly recommend trying the Masternoid demo, I'm so addicted to that.
I can also second Red Matter 2. Synapse is incredible also. Before your eyes is a beautiful shorter experience. Tonnes of other incredible games.
You don't think they may be holding something back for when the game is actually released?
Definitely a remaster and definitely happening.
Death's Door is an incredible game, I urge you to check it out.
I love WAMG. Often finish a VR session with a round to chill out. Managed to pick up the Platinum for it last night, which was good fun trying to get.
Hopefully an improvement on their previous effort.
I'll give you one of the several answers to why they did it: Excellent way of training new staff up in their engine.
