They don't force you to make the purchases. I'm a massive fifa ultimate team fan but I've never spent a penny on buying coins for it. The whole point of ultimate team is to build a good squad and I can only see it taking away the enjoyment if you buy the squad instantly. Same reason I won't be paying an extra £10 to get 40 free gold packs when Fifa 15 comes out. They definitely don't make it too big an advantage to spend money, most of the people who do are probably j...
I'm well happy with my decision to queue up for a few hours to get a PS4 at launch. All the games I've played with are awesome (apart from Killzone, which I don't like as much). Battlefield 4 and Fifa 14 give me endless hours of multiplayer, and love MGS, Infamous, and Watchdogs.
It's a really, really good game..........
I don't get what all the concern is about, Watch Dogs still looks awesome.
Watchdogs is a brilliant game so not really overhyped. Don't think MGS can be considered overhyped, it was always expected to be a pretty short game and the actual quality of what is there is excellent, plus plenty of hours play if you want to get all the extras (and £20!!).
They won't go back to Fifa 13 end to end stuff I'm sure. This is still possible in Fifa 14 if you employ the right tactics, but more difficult to pull off successfully, which is why possession play gets more advantage.
If you sort your tactics out and know how to defend properly it's pretty easy to defend most through balls over the top, there's a skill to it, if you can't do it it's because you're not good enough, not because the game is made wrong.
Am I the only one one who thinks Watch_dogs still looks better graphically?
Looks pretty awesome and will be great if it works like they advertise, but can't help thinking it has the potential to be a bit of a let down (probably because I want a decent LoTR game so much!). Destiny will be out a week or two after so I'll wait to see what the reaction is to this before buying, though not sure how much I trust most of the reviews when many were incredibly harsh on Watch Dogs and Infamous.
Awesome! Didn't know this was coming until yesterday.
Definitely agree that there should be an option to hack friends though, maybe limited to a certain number of times per day, or both people have to accept otherwise 'friends' could just be idiots and hack you all the time.
Really don't see this as an issue. It doesn't interrupt your game whilst doing something else like a story mission, and you don't get hacked that often. Apparently you can get hacked more if you hack other people more often so it'd be your own fault, and you get hacked more if you accidentally hack a BUME agent etc. in the game. Being able to turn it off would be stupid as everybody would just go offline and nobody would be open to hacking.
Personally I love it, I thin...
Enjoyed Stick it to the man last month and Trine 2 looks pretty awesome for a free game.
I've had Watch Dogs since Saturday (thank you gamestop) and can tell you that it looks stunning and is an excellent game. Whilst the graphics don't compete with Infamous in some aspects, there's a lot more going on and everything seems a lot more lively. Car explosions etc. are much better than Infamous.
I have no idea why people are even attempting to say GTA V looks as gd on ps3. Sure if you get the right screenshot of GTA it looks pretty nifty, but in motion you see t...
This is possibly the worst comparison I've ever seen. How can you compare a picture with a light shining on the character in one and not in the other. There's clearly a flash or some light that goes on and off which is on at the time the ps4 screenshot is taken and off on the xbox 360. They wouldn't bother just turning a light off on the xbox 360 version.
Ground Zeroes is awesome, worth the £20 for sure. Spent ages doing all the extra bits which are as good as the main story mission.
Is that Ishmael character they're on about in the article not Miller after he gets burned in the helicopter?
I upgraded from xbox 360 to PS4 so haven't played it. It'll be a definite buy for me! Fingers crossed GTA5 will do the same as I haven't played that yet either.
I see your point about the open world stuff, can get repetitive doing the side missions, which are optional anyway, but I think this is something they'll be looking to develop on DLCs or for a sequel now they've got the rest of the game pretty awesome.
Really don't understand a lot of the negative things that are said about the game. I thought the whole game was just smoke powers (which I'd have been plenty happy with) but then you get tonnes more that can all be upgraded and expanded, so there's loads of variety in moves. Also they give plenty of time for character development, you get the whole back-story of most characters in the cool cartoon cutscenes. Don't see how they can do much more.
This game is si...
Yeah I got mine from Gamestop for that price also. I think it's worth it at that price (not that I've played it yet), especially considering Phantom Pain is going to be ridiculously big and will balance out the value.
Reckon you'll have to restart your characters for the final release or will they let you carry on from the beta?
