How dare they charge for something they put countless hours in improving.
Thank you, that's extremely helpful. I'll definitely give the FFVII remake a go based on this and not rule out any other FF games.
Really don't think the PS5 exclusives are being held back that much because the games are on PS4 also. Can't really blame them for wanting to support the massive player base on PS4 either.
I tried playing Final Fantasy XV recently and was really bored all the time (played about 5 hours). Lots of pointless travelling and didn't get on with the characters. Is it worth giving the FF VII remake a go still?
If you watch the Horizon Forbidden West videos in 4K you can see clearly that nothing is being held back graphically from it being cross-gen; absolutely stunning! As long as the game engine is flexible enough then there shouldn't be any issues.
@DJStotty This shows me that you just don't play Call of Duty.
@MaxiPower90
I play Fifa Ultimate team and I've never bought a pack. They've improved rewards from playing drastically over recent years, and there's nothing in your face trying to get you to spend money.
There's a season structure, but it's completely free without even an option to pay. There's great rewards from objectives, Division Rivals mode, and Weekend League mode. There's no need to spend money. I don't play a massive amount, but I sti...
@Nerdmaster definitely recommend giving it more time. You don't really know what it's about from the first few hours, then it opens up a bit more. Great fun once you've unlocked base building things, vehicles/mechs, got a nice ship. Also takes a while to get used to the best way to get resources (although it's never really a grind) and also credits (finding and selling abandoned ships earns a lot).
They never presented those graphics before release though did they. Throwaway comment.
There's not a full priced EA game out there that actually forces you to pay for things, or takes anything away from the game if you don't. Same goes with Ubisoft. If you don't like it, don't buy.
Side missions are excellent fun and can unlock different endings, I don't see how they are pointless.
What mechanics did they lie about?
Absolutely loved it and looking forward to the next gen version. Played on PS5 a couple of months after release, so I can't speak for it's state when originally released, but didn't find the bugs too bad when I played it.
I really don't understand when people say it's fundamentally a bad game if you ignore the bugs.
Definitely think they'll treat the next-gen version as a second chance to win back their reputation, so wouldn't be surprised if it g...
They said they only started looking at it properly after the Ancient Gods DLC was finished. Fingers crossed it's not too much longer.
Absolutely loving Demon's Souls. Only about 20 hours in on my first playthrough with plenty left, though I usually whizz through the second half of souls games compared to the first half.
Game looks absolutely stunning.
Wish I had as much time as you to game lol.
Triple A is about the quality, it has nothing to do with the gameplay style. No argument over Demon's Souls was there (I know not technically a rouguelike)?
Excellent. Was keen to try the closed beta but there was an issue with the EU psn codes and wasn't able to play after it was solved.
Just about the right amount I reckon. The game doesn't revolve around her. It was too late and already in place before the media fell in love with her.
Wow. Keep getting impressed by creation in Dreams. It's the sort of thing I'd have loved 5 or so years ago when I'd have the time to get my teeth into it.
So there were even more bugs before it was released? OMG, mind blown.
I played on the PS5 in January and didn't encounter any serious bugs, just little things that happen because it's a computer game and not real life like people seem to want it to be. Loved it anyhow. Spent 35 hrs going through the main story and look forward to doing all the side missions and the two optional story trees when the next gen version releases.
Although I loved it I don't agree that...
