Yeah, but a last gen game isn't suddenly going to look "next-gen" just because you have a PC. The developer isn't going to use different core assets for each version and create a totally different looking game for each system.

It's not impossible. This game is capped at 30fps, but it uses a soft v-sync to disengage v-sync if the frame rate drops below 30. The game hiccuped there and a couple of torn frames were generated as a result.

Screen tearing is at 1:34

I saw one instance of screen tearing in that video.

Tomb Raider is using V-sync on the PS4, but the max frame rate is set to 60 instead of 30.

That being said, I would have preferred the PS4 version to be capped at 30 just like the Xbox One version.

People pretend that there's a huge jump in graphics from console to PC when in reality the game looks basically the same. Before you start arguing with me on this, let me say that I know that the textures are better and the draw distances are better and stuff... that's not my point. My point is, if you look at the game as a whole, it's still just average.

For example... if you're looking at Max Payne 3 on console, and then look at it on PC, it's still usin...

I really wish this game had newer rendering tech like Physically Based Rendering. It could've looked so much better. Instead, it looks cartoony. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look "bad", but it could've looked way better using new rendering techniques.

I agree. Compared to most other PS4 games, this game looks very last-gen to me. Sorry, but it looks like it was a project that was started on PS3 and then moved to PS4 late into production.

It just doesn't have that next-gen polish and I don't think it's even using next-gen rendering tech.

bondsmx: It's the smoothest launch ever because nobody else has the game... hahaha.

Too bad you feel that way. I find the driving to be very intense. It takes a bit to master, but it's lots of fun when you do. Just gotta stick with it for more than 15 minutes.

WitWolfy: Get better at driving. It's not the game… it's you. I can drive just fine in Driveclub and I come in first almost every race.

Don't get mad because you didn't have enough practice.

Since they have their game engine updated for the PS4 hardware, it shouldn't be too much work to bring the Uncharted games to PS4. I'd buy it.

That's not mist, it's a mirage.

It's when the road looks wet at extreme angles in the sun.

Also, they already have heat waves.

No more car denting in the game.

Not hating... I think it will be a fun game, but man this looks pretty last-gen-y.

4005d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

They delayed it because it still doesn't look as good as Driveclub.

4005d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

Too bad it doesn't do anything.

4006d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

@Sulo

You're clueless. Driveclub has the most realistic lighting model I've ever seen in a video game. The cars don't look like plastic for once.

The motion blur option doesn't seem to do anything. I just tried it. No difference with it up all the way vs down all the way.

Modern Warfare 2 was the best. Man, so many good times.
