Get PCars if you want a simulator
Get Driveclub if you want a great looking game that is also a lot of fun.
There's a reason multiple games exist. Some people will fancy Driveclub and some want more of a simulator and choose PCars.
Now just imagine his reaction if it were Driveclub on your screen.
How about iPhone?
It's called a camera lens.
It's a shame that I really love Driveclub. I play it more than any other next gen game. Oh well. I guess I'm an idiot.
I'm not a blind fandboy. I've just seen much better visuals before.
No PS4? Damn.
If it were his brother, son or daughter, he wouldn't have let them do this.
This honestly looks like it was built with last gen in mind. The graphics aren't anything special. They're not even using physical based lighting and the animations look rather stiff and lifeless.
It doesn't matter though. It's not the type of game I'd buy.
I'm getting tired of open world games. They're saturating the market in my opinion. It was such a nice breath of fresh air to play something like The Order 1886. It has that classic video game feel with levels and a story.
Plus, I like how Uncharted has different locations. Generally, in an open world setting, you only have 1 location and you can become bored of looking at the same stuff all the time.
I still think Driveclub looks better. The windshield hardly gets any rain on it even when water is spraying off the cars in front. Also, the water drops are not dynamic and physics based.
Also, it doesn't appear that the lighting is physical based like Driveclub.
This is one of those rare situations where the season pass really is very worth the money.
I just hope there's a "complete edition" in the works that comes with all the DLC and patches so that if I ever delete my game, I don't have to redownload gigs of data.
That's the one thing that sucks about patches. The launch disk is pretty bare-bones and if I didn't have the internet (or if I had a data cap) I wouldn't want to have to dow...
I had no problem playing the order at 30fps because it was so damn smooth. If Naughty Dog does that with Uncharted 4, it won't need 60fps. Locked 30fps looks and feels great (as DriveClub has also shown us).
People get too hung up on 60fps.
I'd rather have a stable 30fps than deal with 60fps that drops into the 40's and 50's at times. That's a dealbreaker for me. Keep it a steady constant 60fps or a steady constant 30fps... anything else j...
Just as long as they don't downgrade the visuals just to get that 60fps update.
I want something truly mind-blowing after the Order was a little underwhelming.
I want set pieces that wouldn't have been possible on last gen.
I'm not very impressed with anything they showed.
Lame.
Behold the next PlayStation Move... and just like the PS Move, people will forget about it in a couple of years and it will no longer be cool.
Huge downgrade confirmed! Holy crap it looks like X360 footage! This is nowhere near the level of detail that they showed off. You don't even need HD footage to notice that there's almost no geometry to the cars and everything else.
It doesn't even look like early PS3 footage.
I'd like to go back and play Silent Hill 3 for the first time ever.
It would be nice to wipe my entire memory so I could go back and play all of the classics as if I've never touched a game before. Imagine how exciting even the most boring games would be if I've never played a video game.
Sometimes I think we get a little desensitized to modern games and we only see them as "been there done that", but if we were brand new to gaming and h...
Good luck with that. 30fps is still fine. I played the crap out of Driveclub and it looked great and it's smooth as butter for me.
