I'm sure these ex Sony developers still have "connects and contacts" with other Sony studios in the UK.
Obviously, programing wise, developing games for the PS3 would be something that's familiar to them, so there's a good chance for that.

It needs to be understood that the division that houses Microsoft Games is not doing all that great. Even Microsoft Corp itself is under severe attack and alot of analysts don't see how Microsoft can't stop the slow and consistent market backslide.
Think about this:
Other than PC Windows related products, what else is Microsoft a leader in?
-Microsoft failed with Zune
-Games For Windows Live is a failure to VALVE/STEAM
And especially when it's backed up by a You Tuber.

The Wii U is supposed to be an 8th generation home console, and thus far, from what I have seen, it hasn't represented 8th generation software well at all.
So to me, I'm thinking, "Why would I buy such a machine for $350?"

1. You need a Cell processor to emulate games like JOURNEY.
There is no current CPU available that can do what the Cell processor can do, which is processes single precision flops.
2. You don't need an Nvidia GPU to emualate. GPU's across different brands are already interchangeable....so I'm not sure what you mean.
3. Sony owns the RSX ip.
Sony HAS to make the games you bought over the PSN compatible next gen or they will effectively be the laughing stock of the entertainment industry.
You see, VALVE makes their stuff compatible across generations.......Apple makes their stuff compatible. Allegedly, so will Microsoft, and as sloppy as Nintendo has been, even they are compatible across generations.
