Absolutely. Unless it's super awesome single player extra campaigns, map packs with 15 maps, new vehicles, new factions, and free porn. Then it's good.
I want to play this game, and I want to have fun blowing stuff up. But I refuse to buy it now. I refuse to buy DLC, I refuse to buy this game, and I refuse to ever buy another EA game again.
Thanks EA, keep it up. You're chasing me back to the PC.

what about the lobby? How do you choose a server? Is it automatic like COD4 or do you get to choose a server on your own like BF games?

I think he's missing the point on WoW, though.
I don't want to play with or against other people. I don't want to be a part of a community. I don't want multiplayer-only games. And I don't want to use up space in my apartment for a PC and desk.
I'm not every gamer, but I'm the same as a good proportion of gamers. The only people I know who like to game online are the people on this site. No one else I know wants to play online.

They have to fix that issue, so maybe they'll try to fix that and hand out a new patch with the map pack. I know that the cheats still work online in Japan, which is why I just traded in my COD4 for RB6:V (nothing else coming out in the near future for PS3 here), and I know that there's a new cheat that beats the new patch using the same basic idea as the old one did.
Xboxers, get testing and get me this game for my PS3 asap.

I used be pretty good each game, and I was wondering why I was sucking so bad. I assumed it was just that everyone else was getting better, but I could never understand why everyone knew where I was (edit: in the killcam). And I just tried it (the hack), it still works for Japan.
I'm done with this game until it's fixed. No way I'll buy the maps now, not unless they give me coop or new missions AND fix this hackability problem.

I mean, I know Europe gets the short end of the stick, but so does Japan when it comes to some of the biggest games. We don't have The Orange Box, Unreal Tourney, or Lego Star Wars yet (I have a kid), and it's not because Japanese gamers don't like FPS. COD4 is one of the most popular games in Japan on the PS3, and we still don't get the others. Developers can't be bothered translating into Japanese.

I think many people think of the average computer monitor as 27"-32", and the average TV as 32"-42". Anything bigger than those and you're getting into "rich person territory".
The vast majority of people can't afford to have a big TV and a big monitor, and so it's a pretty good point. It doesn't apply to everyone, like yourself, but it's still valid.
I'm an ex-PC Battlefield gamer too, by the way. It took me about 3 months with a PS3 ...
If the graphics and gameplay are okay, I'll buy this just for the editor. This is exactly what I've been waiting for in console FPSs, and I hope more developers do the same thing.

...maybe it's 100Mb by advertising, but I max out at about 5MB/s when I'm downloading from a fast sourceforge server. At 100Mb I should get about 12MB/s ideally.
But yeah, it's fast, and it's cheaper than $35, I get it for $20.
