I'm not an MGS guy, and the game is too expensive for my tastes, but the MGO beta was fun enough to want to play more. I might get it.

WWII is fine, and those of us who have jobs know this, and the developers know that we who actually have money like any setting as long as it's interesting, and that's why they're making COD5 in WWII.

Yep. I feel like a little kid playing his first game again. In fact, it's exactly like I felt when the BF2 demo came out and it was modded to handle 128 players before EA spiked it.

Man, after playing BF:BC, I have been spoiled for other FPSs. Quake Wars is just horrible.
I know that I'm probably a rare case, but I got a next-gen system solely for Battlefield Bad Company.
I know that games like MGS, Halo, GTA and Gran Turismo are great. I don't deny it, and will be buying the ones that come out on my system.
But they are all games I have played before, with updated graphics and updated phsyics, but very little new gameplay. I mean, sure, they have new weapons and radio stations and damage physics and stuff, but there isn't really any...
It's probably a policy change since they know they screwed up by giving GTA4 a 10. After release, everyone complained about the bugs, the choppiness, the flakey online etc..
That's why they're not doing it with MGS, not because they "want to be correct, not first" like they said at the end of the article.
