really enjoyed the beta and will be picking this up next year but i don't understand how it 'pushes the boundaries for what's possible in video games'.
It's a solid polished fps but i don't see it doing anything we haven't already seen done before, it's just it does everything really well.
doesn't mean you need to try and balance things out by being a 360 fanboy though...

lol i'm actually shocked when i play some online games and hear the foul language some kids use. i mean i swear but know when it's appropriate, but playing a game not long ago with some mates and these kids were just swearing and swearing, so much so that my mate actually had a go saying they should watch their mouth before sticking them on mute.

good point of surviving helgan imo. i felt as good as the single player was, the invasion of helgan seemed rather easy and over quickly. i'd like to say the ISA realyl struggling to survive in this one

Alan Wake i rented cus it was a good little single player but having completed it i have no reason to play it again + DLC isn't out for another month and i doubt will be anything to substantial anyway

this comparison puts my mind at rest tbh. was always planning on getting ps3 version but was getting a little worried with all the articles on graphics comparisons.
whats interesting about this comparison is that if this was a ps3 only game and you didn't have anything to compare it to, it looks stunning. It only looks 'bad' because the 360 version is much sharper.
so in short, 360 version is best however i really don't think ps3 only owners h...
probably do look much more similar in motion.
Screenshots of Alan Wake can look really ugly at times but in motion it looks amazing
i don't think they'll bother tbh. since they're using the same engine chances are they'll simply wanna keep it solid at 30 and then make some tweaks to the visuals.
a jump from 30-60 and visual tweaks using the same engine would be a tall order in a 2 year period imo.
besides, 60fps is always good however killzone is a reasonably slow paced shooter so 30 works just fine
