when i first saw modnation racers i was really excited. Then i played the beta and found myself rather dissapointed. I know it was a beta but i didn't believe that all my dislikes would be fixed by launch (and i don't believe they have been)
therefore it's a game i'm really on the fence about and as such haven't bought it. It may be one of those games i pick up in the near future in a sale perhaps (and it looks like that may happen sooner rather than later...
"NEXT Update WILL HAVE THE FIRST TRAILER FOR Bungie GAME "
where does it say that...
edit: forget that. i was genuinly intrigued but it just turns out your an annoying fanboy. should have guessed when you have 1 bubble
limited edition is great for collectors. would prob be worth a fair bit one day. i do prefer it when 'limited edition' really is a limited number lol just a nice touch to know you have 1 of only 200 copies
yes but the whole point of the comments is to discuss the article. instead it's just pointless comments and fanboys arguing which is why N4G is a joke. Only still coming here because occasionally there is actually gaming news and some people will have a good discussion
and yet here you are commenting on a comparison about the game you don't care about... ok sure
whats odd is the pic of bruce buffer has that 'washed out' look we see a lot in these comparisons but in every other screen it's the other way round with the 360 looking 'washed out'
just to clarify, i'm not saying either 1 is better, just that when comparing this set of pictures it makes me wonder if some labels we mixed up
edit: niceguywii60 - you said what i was trying to say a bit better tbh in regards to the saturation etc
really looking frwd to seeing this game in action. hopefully they get the balance in mp though adding in a 1 hit kill rifle.
you have got to be kidding :|
ever since the new N4G went up it seems we're having more and more duplicate articles
I know u guys are just being fanboys but if you'd have read the original article you could have avoided making fools of yourselves:
Quote from EA:
"We look forward to help them bring their next blockbuster franchise"
notice 'next' i.e. this will be a new franchise
swearing is fine when it has context i.e. in a warzone when you're under fire i can't imagine soldiers minding there language, that said it was way to ott in killzone 2 where it stopped being suitable and just sounded silly
Counterstrike works well as a competitive fps pretty much because it's highely dependant on skill and aim - something that can only fully be achieved with k&m controls
and yeh, as pennywise said, socom's prob the closest although tbh it's not the game it used to be (lets hope socom 4 gets back to the socom 1+2 glory days but i somehow doubt it will be the case :()
the problem is, MMO's are able to provide constant updates cus of monthly subscirptions. I guess any big updates will be paid for which is fair enough.
i'm sure we'll hear at E3 but the date sounds realistic - 2 years after KZ2.
Looking at the recent screenshots and hearing about the hands on impression you could even be lead to believe it could make an appearence this year but i find that unlikely. There are too many other heavy hitters coming out so i reckon they'll use the time to polish the game
what about the ppl who loved killzone 1 but hated what they did to the controls for KZ2...
oh i adapted in the end, but why should you have to? for me a control scheme should me feel like i'm the 1 in control. i can play kz2 just fine but it just doesn't feel good to play it, thats the problem.
yeh but you don't feel like the person playing... you feel like your fighting with the controls to make the character look where u wanna...
the controls just need tweaking. call it adding weight or whatever but you shouldn't have to fight with the controls to aim where you want.
plus i believe it was fixed in the end but at first ppl just abused the aim assist anyway by tapping L1 to lock onto someone and just keep tapping it while you fire = u never miss
lol but your comment is so so off topic.
for a start the article is about KZ3 being officially announced and you're talking about sales figures?
problem with K&M is it's never that popular with consoles. to make things balanced you need rooms for either 1 or the other or mixed. UT3 allowed m&k but only ever saw 1 or 2 rooms thats allowed it
same as IGN's pics only IGN's looked better quality tbh
edit: it appears these pics arn't at the correct res which is why IGN's look better. tbh theres no need for this article. view IGN's hands on and you get a hands on and these pics lol
i agree. most people will never have heard of it before. i loved the whole round based concept and saving up for weapons like in counterstrike and then the interesting classes and abilities.
was a good little shooter tbh and something a bit different so would hope to see a sequel
actually i may even dig out my copy now and see if anyone is still playing online lol
