just stumbled across this on wiki lol...
picture of the canned game, Twisted Metal:Harbour City.
now it seems to me that's near enough identical to this pic, prompting me to believe this is an old pic from when they were actually working on HC
i didn't even realise he said that when i watched the show lol watching it again now i can see why. to me it sounds more joking around calling it twisted metal '2' because it wouldn't be twisted metal 2 would it lol i mean theres been twisted metal 1-4 followed by twisted metals with subtitles after.
oh also, that picture that showed up recently... i'm 99% sure it's an old screen from harbour city i.e. the twisted metal for ps2 that got cancelled
"Natal game before they are even announced."
pretty much common sense. "The Project Natal version of "Brunswick Pro Bowling" will be a modified version of the PlayStation Move game, announced back in GDC"
and they gave a lot of info on the Move version of the game. It just looks boring as hell tbh. A bowling game within a mingame compilation is fine but as a stand alone game?? I mean i can only presume it is a budget title.
lol same game that's being ported to move as well by the looks off it. I don't see the point really. both move and natal are likely to have a compilation game that includes bowling. Not to mention this isn't 'proper' bowling a believe? and instead you have to match your actions with the character on screen, rather than u carrying out actions and the avatar copying.
while i agree COD could do with a new engine (this still being COD4 engine) it's still not a bad looking game. it's not pushing graphics but it looks fine to me. Graphics arn't my problem with the COD series, it's all the crap they keep putting in it which makes balancing a nightmare
why is that confusing? lol in general mp maps are based on maps from the single player campaign, but they're saying here they actually built tome mp maps and used the ideas for single player areas
getting such mixed reviews. glad i waited tbh because it looked intestesting but i predicted it would either be really good or really bad.
gametrailers review summed things up nicely giving it an 8.8 for story, 8 for design but 4.7 for gameplay and 5.7 for presentation. Basically saying it has some good idea's and if you look past all it's flaws you may get some enjoyment out of it, but it's a hard game to recommend.
i was hoping for mass effect meet...
actually looking frwd to this despite being let down by mw2. I actually think Treyarch will learn from the mistakes IW made. In fact it seems they've already learned from a big mistake, and that is that the pc version will have dedicated servers! Just watched the latest interview on gametrailers and he adds that little bit on info in at the end.
need some reviews, not comparisons.
The game is out in the UK today and so far i think i've seen 2 reviews one giving it 8/10 (a score like that means i'm likely to pick it up) and one giving it 5/10 =/ obv quite a contrast
placeholder.
Argos are always terrible for game dates. I worked there part time when i was much younger and selling video games is a very small part of what they obv sell being a catalogue shop. As such they're not very clued up.
Often dates listed in the catalogue will be very out of date listing some games as coming out several months after they've already been released and so on. I mean they don't usually even get games in store in time for rel...
maybe because i never really played the twisted metal games but i'm really not all that excited about these little teases that end up hittin hundreds of degree's on here.
I'll just wait and see what games are announced at E3, but even then, didn't he say he wouldn't be attending E3...
yeh lol it seems to me the list contains some mistakes. I'd be very very suprirsed if they bring Haze to 360 now, a 2 year old that sold badly and got very bad reviews.
I mean sometimes if a game doesn't sell well we see it come to other platforms, but not 2 years plus, and not when the game got terrible reviews lol
Hard to say. in a way it would make sense when you consider Indigo Prophecy was on ps2,xbox and pc
what's odd though is that it doesn't list ps3 as well leading me to believe it's a typo.
btw did anyone notice the game under it...
HAZE Free Radical Design X360
the weightiness is fine but input delay is not. He addressed this in the interview though luckily.
yeh lol doesn't really suir killzones style, plus snipers can go invisible ffs haha they really don't need prone too!
good little interview. looking frwd to E3 even more now. I reckon they wanted to announce killzone 3 before E3 so at E3 they can simply focus on showing off the gameplay and features. Even so would have been a lot better to have announced it and gone 'look, here is the actual game being demo'd'
lmao account created less than an hour ago and so far 6 comments, all of which are trolling. hmmm second account?
really liked the idea for this game but said i'd wait for reviews because i wasn't sure. gonna wait for some bigger sites reviews too though tbh but looking like a non purchase so far
exactly lol not to mention the gameplay is repetitive, boring and unbalanced
i was really tempted when i saw the standard edition on sale the other day for £35 but resisted. I imagine it would be a lot of fun at first but would just turn into yet more clutter to add to the 2 guitars, drumkit and microphone that i never use anymore
