haha was discussing this the other night on the topic of what we'll see at E3. Mate goes 'is home out of beta yet' and i honestly didn't know the answer. I'm sure it's popular with a lot of people but it's really not for me. Haven't touched it since my short time on it when it first went open
looks very similar. in some pics it looks like 360 does aa better but it could just be the angle of the shots.
in general though i doubt think owners of either console will be envious of the other.
just hope this game gets good reviews tbh. it's out in the UK tomorrow, beating americas release date next week but haven't seen any reviews yet. It's an interesting concept though but i have a feeling it will either do really well or really bad.
yeh, love the art style in this game. Hopefully it takes a little while to complete too, perhaps with some replayability like with braids speed runs (although aint even thought about trying these lol)

it's only an arcade game, but i must say it's looking really interesting. was deffo gonna purchase this but now i have the option i'll prob get it on the platform offering it the cheapest or if they're all the same then the ps3 for trophies.
if the ps3/pc version isn't out for a while i'll get it for 360 though
not for ages tbh. despite this gen giving us amazing games and i have enjoyed a lot of them, i just haven't had the same feeling as when i used to play ps2 games back in the day.
perhaps it's my age although i still play games a lot, but don't find myself looking forward to the next chance to play game x or y.

I still think the ps3's price point at launch was ridiculous. The problem is i do believe that with all the tech inside it, it was worth the price, but as a video game system it was way to high.

i agree lol E3 2006 was terrible for sony. it should have been great with them unveiling the ps3 etc etc but ah well, in the past now and luckily they've really picked up speed again over the last few years.
looking foward to this E3 because i reckon the big 3 will all have great conferences (even nintendo lol)

#1 so what? i didn't care about wearing the glasses when i went to watch avatar a few months back. + people are already waving their arms around when playing the wii and will soon be joining them on ps3 and 360 with move and natal lol i don't think gamers will mind too much about wearing the glasses.

but the large hdd's and hd-dvd add on are more aimed at the 'hardcore' gamer who is likely to spend more money.
natal is aimed at the casual gamer and so they will wanna keep the price as low as possible.
part of the reason the wii has sold so well imo is simply because it was the cheapest of the 3 consoles

i think HR is a tough one to call tbh. as amazing as it is it's not as 'well rounded' as other potential GOTY's. will probably pick up some awards though.
very surprised about GOW3 though when you consider IGN gave the game 9.4 and the editors choice award lol in comparison to megaman 10 getting 8.5
