title is a bit misleading tbh ps3 was the biggest revenue generator for take2 in THE LAST QUARTER which is unsurprising when you consier Bioshock for ps3 was released then.
its all this generation has been about - releasing games that need to be patched later. last gen they didn't have that luxury cus altho the xbox had a hdd the ps2 didnt (well u could at 1 point in america but it wasnt needed) so multi-plat games needed to be of a top quality since they could only have minor fixes due to storage limitations. releasing patches is gd if it means fixing little things here and then due to user feeback but it seems every other game is released with big problems tha...

thats pretty cool. plus if theres no eu demo announced then at least ps3 owners can just log in on american accounts to get it from their store. wanna see how this plays out since so far it hasn't overly impressed me. don't think i'll find the horror game i was after tbh, like msot have said it actually looks alot more action/ gunplay than even in 4 (which was a great game) but resident eveil isn't about horror, think everyone knows that though
think we'll c more sales of this to come. i went to order mine from the net but msot sites i looked at we're sold out so guess i'll wait untill after xmas and then hope to get it on offer. never saw this at the cinema so think it'll b really gd 2 watch on blu-ray. so far i've just stuck with dvd but the price on blu-ray is coming much much clsoer to dvd making me think 'whats the extra £2-3 when the quality is so much better'

i think the iphone will do alright as a gaming platform but doubt it will compete with the ds or psp. ds is way way ahead of the game and psp isn't doing all that bad itself. I think the problem is that the iphone/touch isn't a gaming platform at heart and most users of the device will have bought it because of the music/video player, web browser etc, where as psp/ds owners have bought them to play games.

just get it replaced/repaired for free? i agree that there shoudln't be so many problems, especially 3 years down the line but some people need to stop being fanboys and just enjoy both systems
maybe i need my eyes testing. i imagine this game is going to be really good but i fail to get excited about these pics. they just don't look that nice. looking frwd to seeing more in the future though

the french love their wiis haha but i wonder whether the sales of software for the wii are only doing alright because of the sheer ammount of consoles on the market. what i mean is most wii owners i know only have 1 or 2 wii games but then ps3/360 owners have much larger collections
i guess kids will enjoy this more than the 'hardcore gamer' which is the whole point of this crap anyway, to try and attract more casual players and make it a more 'family friendly' console. personally i don't c the point. no1 will catch nintendo for the casual audience now so might as well stick what they are gd at. Its the same with home. most people buying a 360/ps3 buy it for the 'hardcore' games not these silly little gimmicks

used to love the socom series but the beta was meh and was annoyed at it being launced in the us way way before eu (well its still not out here yet) but its been a tradition for the socom series :p and at least on the up side when it is released over here the game should be in a really good state (i hope anyway) - can't remember the last time i played a game that didn't need a patch to sort out major problems
yeh they need some weapon mods as well lol i'm actually tempted to get this for pc simply cus the games good but i was put of by the limited number of levels. at least on the pc version there will be loads of mods like this, i mean the game itself is one big mod haha
yeh .jsp = java server page. getting that alot. was ok untill i had some home network problems haha ah well gonna go play some games instead tonight. looks like home will be alright though. time will tell if it gets boring fast of course.

i got in fine but network dc'd so now of course i cant get back on :p lol but i'm amazed at all the fanboys and this article. ppl seem to forget that this is the open BETA and not actual home. the idea is to stress test with large numbers of users i.e. how home will be. and then tweak it so that the final product won't have these issues...
don't get why you can't just buy it off live and have to get a packaged copy to get the code? anyway i got the ps3 version in the end (mates had ps3 version so i could play online with them) but can't say i'm exactly wishing i'd bought the 360 version from what i've seen so far
