the annoying thing is, ppl will still buy it and thus they will be able to do this again and again. even if ppl don't buy it, if it's on the disk, it's not like they've spent alot of time after shipping the game working on dlc!

dunno if i'll get it when it's on the eu store though. i played the 360 demo a while back and had the game on psp. it's alright but a bit 'dumbed down' compared to previous worms games, like it's not really a remake and not really a sequel
should obv have been fixed from the start but socom's a game you can come back to now and again tbh, i mean ppl were playing the old socoms for ages after release. It is a good game once you get past all the bugs, i think even if it's not as good as the previous games in the series (well 1 + 2) socom fans should still enjoy it, it's not a game that will convert new ppl to the socom franchise though.
i think you find more people playing games like cod because yes they are good games, but they are very accessible. anyone can pick up and play call of duty but with kz, if you don't have time to put into it, you'll get thrashed in rooms which wouldn't exactly be fun.

it is really annoying tbh. playin as a tactician means i've always got spawn points down in key locations so i'd much rather spawn 10 meters away with full ammo/grenades and out of relitive danger, than spawn exactly where i died where i have less ammo (sometimes non [why i died!!]) + chances are my gun needs reloading, which takes longer than your invincibility lasts.

there is a good game still hiding within cod4 but theres too much crap making it a rather shallow shooter. great for newcomers but not so much for people after a competitive shooter. I mean the perks system, perks that give you double health, perks that gift you kills when you get killed (martydom) it just seems like they put a load of stuff in simply to appeal to more people (which seems to have worked)

i think it's all down to programming and the engine being used. 1 developer may say 'there is no way we can get any more out of this machine' then another developer comes along and gets more out of the machine.... i don't think you can ever say a machine has x ammount of power tbh. maybe if we don't see any bigger or better games for a year or so then you could say a machine has reached it's limit...
you can mix and match badges but you have to earn it. e.g to use the assault classes second ability, with the tactician you need to max out both the secondry ability of the assualt and tactician, then you can mix and match those 2 classes secondaries.
so i'd need to boost x ammount of times in a game x amount of times in order to get the medal and then get x amount of kills with flying bots for x ammount of games to get that medal.

i agree. i bought 1 cus i love gagets and i can listen to music, piodcasts, watch tv shows etc etc and there are plenty of cool free/paid for apps but i never bought it with the intention of using it as a gaming device. i just bought an ipod touch and love it. but the games arn't anywhere near as in depth as psp games. i imagine sony want to get some games out on iphone cus they take v little dev time, not much money to produce and the iphone is v popular at this moment in time - and in terms of films, i'm not surprised tbh considering itunes is a great way to get films out there via digital distribution + sony still make money at the end of the day...
