yeh. well i own both. been on my ps3 alot more for that very reason (and most of my friends are on there)
So it's quite hard for me to justify resubscribing for live atm which is annoying cus i would quite fancy popping on now and again (been in a halo mood recently!) If you just own a 360 then live isn't really a problem because you'll always be using it.
I guess i'll just have to wait for halo odst to come out then subscribe again then
well i'd say silver members should at least be able to play a demo online. The whole point is to sell the game but it seems i can't try before i buy without paying? and ppl disagree with me for that lol
yes live is good but my problem is i only use it to play online. Just so frustrating for someone like me who'd just like to try a demo :/
edit: wow how can ppl disagree with me for being annoyed at having to pay so i can play a demo :/ tbh most ppl on this site disagree but never actually discuss the matter, i think they should introduce some feature where if you disagree you have to reply (although we'd just get a load of blank messages then haha)

I can tell it's not a serious article etc but my thoughts.
Basically for me, a hardcore game is a game that has a good learning curve, a game thats hard at first but over time you get better at it and there is always room for improvement. It's just always a lot more fun and it also increases the gap between players so you can really tell who is good. Take a game like Call of Duty 4, the game is great, but the learning curve isn't all that good. it seems that anyone can go online ...

i'd say it's more about being a collectors item tbh. obv now every1 with a 360/ps3 will be able to download a better version, but it's still not the original boxed copy.
ah yeh. this weekend in fact. well i'll just resubscribe at somepoint, just aint really touched my 360 much and so the last 12 months of live i paid for was pretty much wasted. spent most of my 360 time on fallout 3 lol tbh i'll prob resubscribe when ODST is released later this year

whereas as far as i'm aware, there isn't going to be a psn boinic commando demo now, nor when the game releases...

and yeh for every screaming kid on the game there are also plenty of sound guys to play with. I'm sure a lot of people bought an xbox just for halo, i know i ended up buying an original just so i could play halo 2 with my mates online. I only bought 2 other games for the system

It's like with the new killzone maps. they come with about 10 super easy trophies to get i.e. revive 5 ppl on this map, revive 5 ppl on that map.
but anyway, ontopic. Not that this matters anyway with ODST not far away? plus thats techincally a stand alone game (altho it could be considered a halo 3 add on) so i'm guessing they will still be producing dlc for that..?
