yep. i think it's still worth owning both consoles. i got a 360 the xmas before ps3 launched (cus i was sick of waiting for the ps3 when it had just released in America but EU didn't get it till March 07)
Used my 360 loads, and even after buy the ps3 prob spent most of my time on 360. recently though theres just nothing that really interests me on it. hoping for some big announcements at E3 but i could really do with some big exclusive games now cus in terms of multi-plat, i use...
The only people who really care about the sales are fanboys. Why else would it matter if a game you play and enjoy sold 1 million or 5 million? if you enjoy the game then sales shouldn't matter, except they do because it's the 1 thing fanboys love to throw at each other in their petty arguments.
it's quite funny looking at the reasons people are throwing at each other for why it's on psn first. The fact is that it will be down to how xbla works. Every xbla title has a demo and every time the demo is released alongside the game so that ppl can play before they buy.
regardless, this is good news for ps3 owners so it doesn't really matter why it's on psn first :)
prototype looks good cus of the variety with the whole changing shape etc, being able to use vehicles etc and the mature thing could be a bit more fun. Then theres infamous that looks a bit nicer but i am worried about the limited weaponry (of just electricity) + the environents are all so dark :( jsut wish it had more colour.
it kinda sound stupid but out of the two i'd opt for Infamous, actually on the basis that it's exclusive meaning the developers have been able to work hard...
i think like the crackdown/halo 3 scenario. crackdown was a pretty decent game (or so i've heard, i only played the demo but it was a lot of fun) but the fact that it came with teh halo3 beta meant that ppl took alot of notice of the game and i'm sure those buying simply for the halo3 key (i'm sure there were plenty) probably found themselves enjoying crackdown anyway.
It is a clever marketing strat tbh. How do you get a new (but good) ip to sell well without a load of marketing....
well ND have said they highed new guys to work on the multi-player/co-op so the same guys have still been working on single player... so really i can't see the single player being different whether they added in this multi or not
it says Europe so guessing Europe....
perhaps theres been a decline in live subscriptions over here so they wanna show ppl what they're missing out on again
good news :) nice to see they're not leaving out EU!
who disagreed with u? lol
anyway i do have a feeling the uk/europe will. so far this is just an american announced thing on the us playstation blog etc. It would not surprise me 1 bit if eu doesn't get a beta/ gets it was after america does
yeh but if you don't want that stuff and just want to be able to play your games online. ppl go on about all the features live gives you that psn doesn't, which is true. but what about the gamer that just enjoys playing games online?
or ppl like me who just cba to re-subscribe atm lol
it's the prob with having a ps3/360. sometimes i may spend months playing on live every day, but then if i'm hooked on a ps3 game, it's pointless me even having live :(
might pop on again this weekend. been in a halo mood recently but my live ran out not long ago and i really can't be bothered re-subscribing till something decent online comes out
i think you're missing my point. Uncharted 2 multiplayer may well be confirmed but who's to say these screenshots are legit... chances are the news comes out that uncharted 2 has multi-player so some guy on the internet gets some single player screenshots and puts names above ppl's heads...
i guess developers are having a hard time because displaying a game split screen obviously takes up alot of resources, so to get an amazing looking game with great physics etc etc, that pushes a machine, running it split-screen would prob run really bad.
I mean Resi 5 had to get by buy giving you two smaller screens.
L4D only lets you do 2 player co-op rather than 4!! (mate was v dissapointed when he bought it on his 360 expecting it to be 4 player split when he could have...
even though they reckon co-op will be separate to the single player...
could well be fake. just cus in an interview not long ago, they said they were thinking about multi-player or some sort of co-op but wernt sure. they were weighing up the possibilities. then theres all these rumors that there's going to be a multi-player beta for it and so someone could well have just mocked up some screenshots knowing that ppl would believe they were legit (due to the mp rumors going round)
would be nice if it's true cus it'd just be a bonus for me and more than...
"China Town wars is tracking better than LCS did"
really? i thought lcs sold a few million? ah well. you must be a ds owner to defend your console so much rather than accepting the chinatown wars won't be a massive seller, no matter how good the game is
sounds a bit like gow. small squad tactical combat, it already has it's great cover system, going for weapons around the map (could work really well with the platforming aspect i.e. the better weapons are risky to get to.
can't wait for more info tbh
i agree actually. i'm still not a fan cus of all the rubbish, flamebait articles, bad grammer everywhere etc. but this interview was pretty good.
The 'Best Sold' ... I really wish I could get some articles approved (don't have the time) in order to help approve/report pending articles. Do people not use basic grammar anymore?
