i keep saying this lol but as much as i know this game is a bit of fun etc etc, who would buy it?? no wonder they are having to discount so early.
basically they will just make a war movie and name it after call of duty lol and the name will attract more ppl to go see it. But it's not like if it wasn't called call of duty, u'd be sitting in the cinema going 'hmmm this reminds me a lot of that video game, call of duty' haha
would just be another war movie.
I'm all for decent war movies and really enjoy em, but this seriously is just gonna be a cash in on the name.
I was actually expecting some more info from this 'preview'
talk about wanting hits :/
and what does this mean "Alan Wake will be a Microsoft exclusive, available only for PC or Xbox 360 "? so are they saying it will be on the pc AND 360 or are they saying it will be on 1 or the other??
I just hope E3 sheds some light on this game. If not then i can't imagine we'll actually be playing this game till late 2010
although it was interesting to hear the thoughts of the gamer, i don't really get the point of 'demo opinions' since everyone with a ps3 and an internet connection will be able to try the game for themselves. It's a hands on of the full game I'm sure would make for a much more interesting and worthwhile read.
you can play both you know...
360 only owners will play forza
ps3 only owners will play gt5
and owners of both (myself) will play both games.
Only problem is if they release at the same time in which case i'll have to play 1 first then pick the second up at a later date when it has a lower price tag anyway
exactly, exclusives don't 'feed hate', sites like gameplayer do...
End of the day console exclusives are impotant. Mainly because an exclusive title is focused on 1 platform and so a higher quality game can be produced than trying to get a game out multi-plat, all meeting the same release dates etc etc.
Some devs can devilver quality multi-platform games, but in general it's an exclusive game that can really push a system.
really looking frwd to this. never owned a fn game before but loved playing fn3 round a mates a while back. loved the way you could control you movement and punches with the analogues. was just really smooth and all the more satisfying when you dodge and counter.
what does my head in is when ppl say 'halo was the first to... insert what halo did first here'
Ok so it introduced matchmaking to console gaming. Thats great except every other game now has a decent matchmaking system. I went on halo3 again during the free live weekend and it took much longer to matchmake compared to playing cod4.
forge - it's not a full map editor though, and map editing has been in pc games for aaggggeeesss. In terms of console games, there are ot...
7. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 G – 2.55 million units
i imagine you'd get more reply value out of inFamous. Both single player games but with infamous being sanbox theres obv a lot more to do than in a linear story like x-men. I'd say rent x-men now and play it while you wait for inFamous to release :)
unusual to see inFamous will be there although it's due for release at the end of May and E3 is in June?
i suppose they'll use it in order to get more info out to the ppl who wern't sure about buying. will be too close to it's laucnh to talk about 'success' i would have thought + it would look bad if it didn't sell like they're expecting
well i wasn't gonna watch at work + it was always gonna be obvious that the 'unpredictable' twist could be :/
oh so the game does still exist then :/
This is another game that looked really interesting... several years ago. time will tell though
i'd sign up for the beta but looks like it's US only :( even if i could sign up though the testing times would be from 9pm my time until early mourning. Would be unfair to take someone's spot who will have the time to test.
i originally had an Amiga followed by a megadrive. Then for my next console i was looking at the sega saturn for my upcoming birthday (but mainly because it was cheaper than the playstation). My mum talked to some people at work who said the playstation was the better system so we decided to go for the pricier system. And it was amazing, such a step up from the megadrive.
So by the time Dreamcast released, i really couldn't have cared less cus i was waiting for the ps2 to launch...
you didn't even have to go to the source to know that the demo is out now but only for people with pre-order codes...
i really wonder if any1 will actually care when duke nukem gets released (if it gets released)
so i guess i was wrong about the 360 version not getting the titan pack because of its size.... haha gotta love anonymous disagrees by fanboys :p
isn't there a download limit on the 360 though (which is why the 360 version of ut3 didn't receive the titan pack cus it was too big)
i'm pretty sure that wasn't as big as this demo is likely to be...
pre ordering only gets you access to the demo a week early... every1 will still have at least a week to try the demo before the game gets released.
it would be annoying if you could only get the demo by pre-ordering though, would kinda defeat the point of pre-ordering really
but regardless of whether ur a fan of his music or not, it's not a good game so even the most die hard fan would surly stick to his music and not his games... lol
i'm surprised to see numbers this low tho :/
