hmmm. games on the iphone/touch are just too tempting, a few £ and a matter of minutes and u've got a new game! i have to watch i dont just buy things spur of the moment and never play em again :(
am tempted by this tho, just to c if it works well. it's £6 in UK
so around £10 for the UK then. fair price tbh. I just really hope it doesn't get delayed over here, feel sorry for the pc guys although the game is looking to be more suited to being a budget psn/xbla game. At least pc gamers should be getting bf3 (or atleast i pressume so??)

yeh. i bought resi5 to play on my own but you really do get the feeling that to really enjoy it, it has to be played co-op. making the whole story 'co-op ready' means if you're not playing with a friend you have to rely on ai :/
i'd actually be all for a competitive mp mode though, i'm sure the die hard uncharted fans would disagree, but i reckon it could really work.
will just be an added bonus. they could pull off a really good multiplayer with the whole cover system etc, but i'm sure most hope that they concentrate hard on the single player (which i'm sure they will.
really looking frwd to this game though, multi-player or no multi-player, I should really pick up the first, just so busy atm so don't have much time for gaming in general :/ maybe over the summer i'll pick it up :)
just cheap components inside it. Anyone who says the 360 "isn't loud" is just desperately trying to defend a piece of hardware tbh. I wish i could do disk installs cus i know that would solve alot of problems, but with a 20GB hdd, i can only really have 1 game installed at a time (cus of demos, saves etc)
gow made the cover system alot more mainstream but yeh, it's not the game that created cover systems
yeh it looks interesting. I dunno if i can be bothered to import it though which is a shame cus it seems alot of ppl in the west are liking the look of this game yet we may never see it (without importing).
they could prob get away with just repackaging and using the import version, cus it has english subtitles?
alot of ff fans will have bought ps3's/ planning on buying them
ff fans who own both consoles will buy the ps3 version because of ff going with the ps3 brand, having lead development on the ps3 etc
ff is most popular in japan where it's still exclusive to the ps3
ff owners who opted for a 360 at the start of the 'next-gen' will be able to enjoy the game too (unless they live in japan)
so to conclude, it's good that 360 only owners will be ab...
only thing i'm not liking is the dull colours. i know it keeps being said recently but games are starting to annoy me with their dullness. I played kz for hours and hours each day for a few weeks after launch and then bought socom, was just amazing to play a game with colour again lol i know the games that are generally dull are dull for a reason etc but it is so boring :( just makes the environments seem repetative even if the srtuctures etc arn't
i remember reading a comparison a long time ago now. good reminder thought to those that leave consoles on. alot of the time if i'd use my ps3 to play something and then go off for a while i'll just leave it on the xmb. now i've started turning it off though, it won't really effect the cost tbh but will certainly prolonge the life. I really wouldn't trust leaving my 360 sitting on standby though lol

1 question i really hope they ask: will MAG be a subscription/play to play? cus they will either give us the answer or say 'at this moment we can't comment' which is as good as saying there will be some form of subscription fee.
I do have a feeling they may play a risky game in order to tie in with the whole psn being free though but really, they may be able to deliver a much much better game by charging a small fee. If it's worth it people will pay it, i mean just look at WOW

yeh but they are examples of doing stuff in a game full of stuff already available, just as a bonus. where as this is the main focus of the game in this case
i wonder how many times you can base jump before it gets boring. In rl i imagine it's an amazing thrill, but in a game...? just can't see it myself, plus it is a stupid name regardless of whether it grabs your attention or not.
i think with updates etc causing ppl's system to freeze, break etc, i'd say thats more down to bad timing. If i'm in my room doing a handstand and my 360 gets a rrod, it doesn't mean that doing a handstand in my room would cause it to rrod lol <--- stupidest scenario i could come up with haha
i think you're missing the point. these are games that don't really innovate much (altho tbh i can see where various arguments are coming from) but are solid at what they do.
for me, if a game is really fun to play, thats what matters. If it's been done time and time again, it doesn't matter so long as it's fun to do again in that game. Hope that makes sense
i dunno. it's aimed at being a co-op experience, which it does well. it's just a shame i picked it up when it was offer on steam cus i have few mates that pc game, and those that do no longer play L4D :/ playing co-op with other ppl just isn't the same (especially when they vote you out for no apparent reason??)
The game does what it says on the tin though, but the tins not all that big
