haven't been on in a while but it's still a game thats fun to play to this day. gonna have to dl this patch tonight
i was a big fan of the first but not so much the second. This game is very different though but just as a game in itself i found the demo to be pretty fun. loved planting charges to the support parts of buildings.
prob will get this when it's out but i'm not really excited about it, just cus i think the environment will be pretty similar and thus get boring after a while + they need to have some varied objectives
it's $6 lol so expect it to be around £4 which is the same as call of duty's map pack?
jaffe is so annoying :/ all he seems to do is swear alot. and now he's annoyed because he snapped the usb port because the wire was left in the way.
it doesn't like the dev kit was looked after all that well anyway tbh. seems the guy needs anger management.
i imagine if they charged 25c a map they'd have a tough time making back the money spent on making them...
prob gonna be the first dlc i buy tbh, mainly cus i've played kz2 to death and pretty bored, but i know 2 extra maps will get me playing it again
amazingly i never owned any of these games!! instead i had to borrow them off mates and due to this never actually completed any of them lol so i would certainly buy all 3! problem is i live in EU so i wonder when or if we'll see these :(
i very much doubt the sales are down to it being 2d or 3d.
the sales are down to the fact that the ds's fanbase isn't interested in a game like gta/ they're not actually old enough to play it. Nintendo fanboys may take that as a dig but it's just the truth, nothing to do with the quality of the game, it's to do with the audience the game is aimed at

good to see they've got the ps3 version looking nearly as good as the 360 version. Seems the only real difference is the lighting but i'm sure when you're playing at home it's hard to notice the difference. Interesting to note that both versions sometimes drop below 30fps a second though and surprised to see that the pc version needs a pretty decent rig to get the most out of it.
do you not think there's a reason for no dlc on ps3, like an exclusive deal to ms or something...? or do you just think Bethesda just didn't want to make dlc for all formats :/
tbh from reviews your not missing all that much since it sounds like the dlc doesn't compare much to how good the main game is.
and paranoid monkey, it does look a lot better without that green filter
well i'd guess it's the psp version...
lol why did they use composite cables with the hd. but yeh it's amazing when you go from sdtv to hd for the first time. U really don't have to spend that much though. i used to have a 20" sdtv and upgraded to a 26" hdtv for £270 and that was 2 years ago!
it's deffo worth upgrading for people that haven't thats for sure, i'm actually amazed how many people own ps3s/360 and don't have a hd!

my theory is that they've got over 2 million out there now so are now offering the game for alot less to increase the number of users which will help to boost sales of dlc (and judging by the amount of paid for dlc appearing on the store each week, it must be selling well)

thats what i mean. personally i believe we're in that period on the 360 now where developers are able to bring out good looking games etc but nothing ground breaking, but then who knows, round the corner something could just pop up and blow ppl away, i remember when gow was first shown and how that was a massive leap
