yeh. i never got quake wars:et, but the original was great. I would have gladly have paid for it. Just loved the objective based modes where you would complete objectives 1 at a time before the main obj (i especially liked fuel dump)
so yeh will keep an eye on what this might be.

i see your point but the fuse is so short that it's hard to avoid. run into a small room with a guy who doesn't even know how to move and he can still get a kill when you knife him...
and theres nothing worse that going for an objective, taking several ppl on at once and then have grenades drop out of all their arses. like you say yourself, it's a cheap way to get kills.

surly the point of a demo is to decide if you wanna buy a game or not, then you go away and pre order it... So what this is asking is to pre order, try the demo eary and then i guess keep the pre-order or cancel...?

Someone mentioned this the other day, they should really make the gow movie with top of the range cgi u know. I guess it depends on the budget (which i guess will be big) but i just feel they could create a much better movie with cgi than real life actors (whatever that term is?).
Or they could use an effect similar to Beowulf where its kind of a mix. It needs the right artistic vision is what i'm trying to say ...

well I'm afraid not every1 lives in America so they can't go outside and shoot their gun...
and perhaps it's not trying to be like a gun. Have you ever thought why a trigger on a gun is concave... cus it's easier to grip, which is why the 360 triggers are concave and these clip on triggers turn the ps3 tiggers from confex (harder to grip) to concave...
I can understand they're not for everyone. but it amazes me the ammount of ppls comments that just seem to be 'defen...
they just clip on/clip off. If you decided you no longer wanted to use them you could take them off and you'd never know u had them on...
I'd never consider using L2+R2 as 'triggers' for shooting games. They're just not positioned correctly where as with the 360 pad you fingers natural resting place is over the triggers.
That said i bought a set of these a while back and would never use a controller without them. Seriously for £3 (talking uk prices now) they're worth every penny.
It feels so weird now if i have mates round and end up with 1 of my controllers without the triggers lol I'd recommend...
i would have preferred using an updated engine tbh. The biggest announce from the cod4 engine seems to be hit detection. The hitboxes on ppl's heads seem really random, the amount of times i've shot someone in the head only to get a 'normal' kill is unbelievable. You only have to create a room with headshots only to see how off the hit detection is.
But the weird thing is that in general, body shots register really well.

actually i just wish that no game has to suffer windows live! i was just playing dow2 having a great 3v3 battle and i get dc'd from live but my internet connection is fine!!! ffs soz just needed my rant lol
Something to add. How come games for windows live is free but xbox live isn't?? i log in with my same live account to play Dawn of War 2 and can play online despite being a Silver member! so why charge people for the same service just cus it's on the 360?
hmmm so the ps3 launch was bad cus of the high price and cus ms felt the need to sabotage it?
I wish the ps3 had of came out with a better line up than it did, but it still sold plenty if i remember rightly, despite the cost. I know i said i wasn't gonna buy 1 at launch (cus i had a 360 anyway) but ended up buying 1 a week after launch lol
Live does offer a good service but....
