That is why ANY game can be on the list. While some of the games might not exactly be great technical achievements, their eye-pleasing merits is completely a subjective thing, as reflected by a vote.

Had you properly read my post, you would have seen that I wasn't comparing games quality wise, but rather significance wise. Both games are highly anticipated, and had either been released without competition, they would have shifted significantly more consoles.
Whichever will be "best" is atm based mostly on speculation and hype, and is more importantly purely subjective. Personally I hope both games live up to their hype, and more, promoting innovation in gaming, rath...
Space combat simulators really have very little to work with graphic wise, and seeing how it's all about graphics today, it's sadly just not meant to be. Pity really, since the series managed to get the story, game play and the proper Star Wars feel so very well.
I'd guess that both MS and Sony want to make sure their respective games hit the scheduled release date, 21. October.
However much the fanboys want to argue about which one is best, both titles are huge, and will more or less keep each other at bay. Either getting delayed is ample reason for many to buy a console for the other I'd imagine.
The whole X-wing series (X-wing, Tie Fighter, X-wing vs. Tie Fighter and X-wing Alliance) really was awesome, some of the very best Star Wars games.

The way I see it, Fallout 3 will probably have the better story/immersion, while Fable 2 will have the most fun game play, with couch coop and whatnot. Both games will be awesome, but in different ways.
