Might be a reason you're confined to the open zone to begin with... just a consideration.
Close call, but I really think the Donkey Kong Country games deserve the top honours, they were truly amazing games. My all-time favourite platformers actually.
Deus Ex 2 was called Deus Ex: Invisible War. You probably never heard of it because it really didn't turn out to be a worthy sequel.
Dunno about those pictures, but graphics will probably the least of worries when it comes to a good deus ex sequel.
The purpose of reducing loading times isn't really to save time, but to lessen the immersion breach caused by long loading times.
In all fairness, the review could have been a bit more reading-friendly. Perhaps dividing it into several pages or adding some subtitles now and then. Just a thought.
Repetition is a powerful form of hypnosis and ads do just that. Some might think they are immune to ads, but it really works on a subconscious level, and if you see a certain ad enough times, you just might fall for it. People buy crap they don't need all the time largely because of that.
Beyond that, do we really want to give more power to "sponsors" to preach their messages in our games? Before long you get situations where the devs can't exercise their creativity bec...
And I suppose you call the 2.3/10 score the PS3 version got from the same site a huge success? http://www.n4g.com/ps3/News...
A crap game will be crap regardless of what console it's on, just like a good game will be good regardless of what console it's on.
Seeing you spam so many threads with such worthless comments, as if you were a script rather than a person, I have to wonder: who benefits? Do...
I guess it's because they spend as little resources on the ports as they can, in order to maximize short-term profits.
I doubt they could care less about their reputation, most people who buy games probably don't visit game news sites anyway.
I'm surprised he wasn't hit by a ricochet, or sawed off his leg, cause that looked completely reckless.
The really sad part is that if they didn't worry so much about losing, they probably would become better, and god forbid, even enjoy the game.
People really need to get over the whole "being a loser" thing, it really benefits no one.
Using a controller like that is like using a modern recurve bow with stabilizers, optic sights, triggers and whatnot in a medieval bow contest. You might still lose, but you sure have an uneven advantage.
And I'm pretty sure the single-shot weapons were designed to be *drum roll* single-shot, not full-automatic, so this is in effect a glitch.
No, it's not time, and never will be (fervent prayer). EA is bad enough as it is, get Disney involved and gamers are truly screwed.
They can see that you have the preview build, on a console that is not authorized for the preview, once you do try to connect to live when it's finally up with NXE on November 19. They might not ban you before that, but you are basically "banned", in effect, since you can't connect to live anyway.
I doubt there is much, if any, activities you do on your 360 that MS can't find out about once you connect to live, privacy policy be damned.
Harsh but very true article.
I am actually genuinely sad for people who take their fanboyism to that level, they owe it to themselves to be better than that. Gaming is about having fun, not about ruining fun for others, remember? Please, remember.
And yet you are giving your opinion on said opinions, and by replying I guess I'm giving mine as well... the plot thickens.
But yes, it is silly and not news.
As someone already pointed out, it's based on a normal, 6-sided die (dice in plural). Personally I find the system kind of funny since it so ironically alludes to the randomness of review scores, but that's the system they use, and it's just as valid as any other random number.
That really is open zone material.
Besides, AAA is old news, AAAA is the new non-flop, haven't you heard?
Sigh.
Could be "EA sacrifices 500 virgins to increase profit" and I still wouldn't bat an eyelash.
About as credible as anything Aaron Greenberg says. How anyone can take these PR statements seriously is beyond me. Deliver first, brag later imo.
To be perfectly honest, I seriously doubt that the N4G staff wants to get rid of the fanboy crap, gamer zone or otherwise, it is a big source of hits after all.
I could be wrong of course, and they might actually care more about having a decent site than hits, but in that case they really need to get their act together.
