Come now, that's far fetched even for the open zone... we're talking EA here.
With EA calling the shots, you can be certain that it will come on every possible platform for maximum milkage. Just hope Bioware hasn't changed much for the worse after the buyout.
I believe you are confusing the words "fanboy" and "fan". While fanboy might be a silly made-up word, it has a rather different meaning I believe.
Well, I think people instinctively hate large greedy corporations, whether it be Sony or Microsoft.
And as I wrote, the "source" of fanboyism is probably the same greedy corporations, ironically enough, that just fooled people into focusing on the other greedy corporations.
It could mean that GeoW2 will be released on a 100GB cog shaped disc.
Or it could be stupid little messages written on cogs that will come with the game, like fortune cookies or something.
Could go either way at this point.
If by "my rugby team" you mean a team you follow where the players earn wages and the owners of the team earn ticket money etc, it is basically a company. Would be hard to repeatedly sell tickets to the same people if they only went occasionally to see some good rugby, not really caring who wins. Now if they manage to get the fans really worked up about winning over the "enemy", it's another story. And that's where you get your "fanboys" in sport as well.
...
I think that fanboyism, if not created, is at least largely fuelled by the companies themselves. "X" tosses some crap at "Y", and all the fanboys of "X" follow and the other fanboys retaliate.
And it really works for the companies, because as long as the focus is set on the other companies, they can easily get away with their own faults.
Imagine a scenario where "X" tosses some crap at "Y", but then the fanboys of &q...
Good farewell speech from Adam, with a high level of human decency and seemingly lacking the underlying sarcasm one might expect in a case like this.
For me it was either Ganon in A Link to the Past or Ocarina of time. Can't say for Wind Walker, as I never had a GC, but in Twilight Princess he was a bit underwhelming for some reason.
Nintendo really was awesome... until they discovered (created?) the wonder that is "casual gamers" and made the classic icons turn in their graves. I want the real Nintendo back.
10. Medusa (Kid Icarus)
9. The Icon of Sin (Doom 2)
8. Dracula (Castlevania)
7. Mother Brain

5. Dr. Robotnic (joke)

Gothic 1 and 2 were really some of my favourite RPGs. Despite their technical flaws, the atmosphere and RP aspects were awesome at their time. Sadly gothic 3 mostly inherited the technical flaws, and went more for the quantity > quality route, like Oblivion did after Morrowind.
Will be hard to get hyped for a gothic game again after that.
Had they given the new models their own stances and other unique things, I could maybe consider it.
The new mission sounds like the Wii, PSP and PS2 "exclusive" content.
Thus making him a "martyr", and probably giving games more hassle than Jack could produce in a life-time... now that would be both very ironic and misfortunate.
You buy a console bundle, then you trade in the games for new games, and repeat the process with the new games I guess, even if you're still technically buying the bundled games.
I agree that the poll choices are quite silly, should replace "Only" with "Mostly".
And yet, despite the massive police incompetence, this will still be labelled as another "crime caused by games".
They wouldn't let this story get out if they had nothing to gain from it, and now the police will get even more power.
The vote is somewhat inconclusive without knowing where the voters are from, seeing as game rental (and trade I suppose) is not available everywhere.
Take a step back, take a deep breath and then look at it from a different point of view. If bungie are getting publicity from this, then so is Madeleine McCann, which in turn increases her chances of being found, one might imagine.
If the media throws a fit over this, they are doing it for their own gain, just like they are doing with the original story anyway. They cover the Madeleine case because it's so high profile, but fail to even as much as mention that vast number of chil...
We all "grew up" because we were forced to do so, not because it's natural mind you. Peer pressure always saying "grow up, become a contributor to society, no games and child stuff etc etc", but that's not what maturing is about at all.
Ever seen older animals, and more rarely, older humans that are still very playful, and at the same time very wise? That's maturing, becoming more, not trading aspects of one life stage with another, like playfulness for respon...
Wouldn't know about Criterion games, haven't played any lately.
EA did however destroy Bullfrog and Westwood, and some others that don't come to mind right now.
