it doesnt seem like nintendo are committed to making big, AAA blockbuster games anymore, they would rather release minigame collections or retro styled platformers.
even their franchises that were once large scale have been stripped back. i mean, look at mario 3d world, its ironic thats its actually less 3d than mario galaxy. and look at the new paper mario game for wiiu- nintendo are streamlining their games to the point where they become bare bones.

Its not dismissive, its a running commentary, IE wrote as I was watching. The amount of information being shown in the direct was high,and it was moving fast,so obviously I couldn't expand on everything I wrote,I just gave bullet point opinions.

if its delayed again then i think it will be another NX launch title along with zelda wiiu
i think they will show a new trailer for starfox and maybe announce that paper mario for wiiu which was rumoured.
i hope they will announce a ultimate edition of smash bros wiiu with all the dlc included in one special edition retail package
im also hoping they announce a price cut for the wiiu console. £150 for premium
they obviously only announced it so early to keep shareholders happy.
Whatever Nintendo do will most likely be a good idea in principle, but Sony or Microsoft will simply take that idea and do it better in their future consoles.
IE Nintendo might make a hybrid between handheld and console, but it will be flawed it will be ugly and weak, it will be bulky etc Sony or micro will then come along and do it 'properly'
