if i had a ps3, i would still definitely check out home, it does look like a good idea, but its not encouraging to see the initial response it's getting.
it does have the potential to be amazing.
it seems sony have created a house, rather than a home. ie- a cold, hollow shell, vacant of any warmth or 'feeling' that actually make a place a 'home.' obviously sony didn't think about what home actually means.

why would sony push bluray, and in the next generation not continue through by allowing you to play those disks on the new technology?

Ok, so porn could be seen as part of pop culture (to a limited extent), but it is hardly celebrated. It is hidden. And lets be honest, sex in video games is still a taboo. Sex and video games don't really mix, Not in the eyes of the media anyway.
america is predominantly a christian country. what does christianity teach? certainly not to perv over polygons. just because porn is enjoyed by millions doesn't make sexual liberation. porn is still largely taboo and frowned upon.
but anyway, ivy from soul calibre had the hottest behind. even in a thong ;o)
knock 70 pounds off the price and you have my attention.
until then, ps3 might as well get comfortable in 3rd position.
