i've never had a silent hill game, always wanted one. hope this turns out well
i think it is distasteful to talk about the dead guys girlfriends 'sexiness.' it is in bad taste. disgusting in fact.
i'm not sure i believe this. here are my reasons:
- it's april fools day tomorrow.
-why would nintendo remake a game from the zelda franchise for the wii, when it could make a new zelda game.
- the ocarina that supposedly comes packaged with the game sounds silly.
-twilight princess was similar to ocarina of time anyway.
-nintendo aren't that 'cool.' when has nintendo ever given us what we want? they make what they want and the...

im so disappointed. do they have research and development at capcom? why don't they listen to what people want? i do NOT want these rubbish poor excuse for games. make us quality games please.

i don't agree that this actually makes sense. for that statement to be true, wouldn't the machine have to be self aware? ie- you can only refer to your self as 'i' if you are self aware.
machines are not self aware, so really, it should be - DSU. U= you, the other. because we as humans have attached an identity to it. for it to be an 'i' would mean that it has self awareness and has spoken.

update: will be turn-based combat.
i find this pretty insulting.. its fine for house of the dead, because that is and always has been on rails.
but to announce a game that is a acclaimed fps, and then reveal the wii version will be on rails.. that sucks.
its like announcing street fighter 4 for the wii, only to announce later it will be turn-based combat.
the so-called critical acclaim their recent efforts have enjoyed is only hype.
i can see what you mean about it being old and it not aging well but use a bit of imagination..
they update the graphics (higher res at least) and add wii controls, so it uses a control scheme similar to metroid prime 3.
i think that would be a worthwhile addition. and worthy of being labelled a 'good surprise.'
a good surprise would be dvd playback or a new virtual console, like the dreamcast. mario paint or earthbound is what we should expect on the virtual console, not be surprised to see.
GOLDENEYE! now that would be a surprise. forget conduit! i'd make do with goldeneye on the virtual console.
even if you 'accidently' murder somebody (manslaughter) you would probably get more time than if you raped somebody.
and people talk about murder in war games.. i have never been one of these damn hypocrites who thinks death in war isn't murder. murder is murder, stop trying to paint a rosy picture of it. rape is a serious crime, yes, but murder is the ultimate crime.
murder is worse than rape. in any context. even in the eyes of the law, if you commit murder, you will get more time than if you commit rape.
its not using that argument to defend the game, its stating the obvious! people here undoubtedly murder people on a daily basis in video games, but god forbid they ever rape somebody.
the whole argument is stupid and can be taken to extremes- 'oh in die hard trilogy i ran over all those innocent pedestrians! i must run to chur...
all these threads do is help advertise the game
it looks really '90's. tacky. it looks like the cover for a game that thinks it's cool, rather than a mature game. somebody needs to tell the artist 'less is more'
