I actually think there's a difference in how I feel about journalist's contributions to a Kickstarter (small or large, one time / one project only) vs. Patreon (ongoing contributions to a person, not necessarily any particular project).
I don't seem to be as worried about a person supporting a particular game, liking the game a lot, and talking about that (because they usually disclose if they're a big fan or not), but when they're supporting the person di...
I hope they do many more of these. Could be expanded to include interviews etc. as well.
I think PS4 is winning because they built something hard to do. Something not even in the box:
Trust.
You're crazy. Sonrosoft was the clear winner.
Their breakout games like Ori and the Blind Forest, Cuphead, The Tomorrow Children, and Rime won me over.
Amazing how much changes in a day. Now we learn Sony's P.T. teaser is actually a promotion for a new Silent Hill, and the new Tomb Raider is coming to 360 too and the Xbox exclusivity has "a duration". If the scales weren't already tipped, I'd think that would do it.
Hopefully they've learned their lesson that they should at least post an image of all the games coming to Vita. Shahid Kamal Ahmad did his best on twitter to remind people of what's coming in an epic "flash flood" of Vita tweets (I summarized it here: https://twitter.com/paulogy... )
One detail folks keep missing: It's coming to 360 too: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/g...
They are being very careful not to point out that it's coming to Xbox 360 also, but it is: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/g...
It's why they keep saying "Exclusively to Xbox" not "Exclusively to Xbox One".
One thing, though, it's coming to Xbox 360 too: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/g...
Guerrilla Games making gorilla games. Please, let this be a thing :-)
There's no catch. It's fairly obvious there are only going to be a handful of games in the Vault at any time.
I love that we exist in a time where interesting games like this are made :-)
*I* will never forget Eternal Champions, and more importantly Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Darkside. I still own them, in fact.
On the other end of the spectrum, I wish I could forget Deadly Moves (Genesis). Ugh...
Wow, at this rate I really do hope they release a new PS4 with a larger HD (though you could always swap yourself)
Not sure why this became a pricing discussion, but I might as well put my thoughts in.
I think by hook or by crook Sony will target $299 for Morpheus. That seems obscenely low compared to their $1k HMD, but high for what some will perceive as "just a peripheral" (but they're wrong, it's not).
This would make a bundle of a PS4, the headset, a PS camera and a PS move cost ~$780, so a steal at $699 bundled together - maybe throw in a VR game o...
Does anyone else continue to find it odd that they list all nine exclusive games in the "Other Games" list too?
My socks are unmatched too, doesn't necessarily make them good ;-)
I love how all nine titles in the Exclusive Blockbuster Games list is also present in the Other Blockbuster Games list too
I think the issue with PlayStation Now is how temporary it feels. Once your time limit expires, even the 90 day version, you are left with nothing for your money (but the experience, I suppose).
What I propose is credit that builds toward having the game be added to your permanent streaming library. A rent-to-own strategy, with the full unlock price being the price of buying the game digitally today. I agree prices could be tweaked further, but simply knowing that rental mone...
Hmm, next Gravity Rush announced as a PS4 exclusive?
