Folks can be sick of remasters, but if they also keep crapping on new IP with great ideas (but perhaps mediocre execution) like Watch Dogs, Destiny, Titanfall, Evolve, DriveClub, Ryse, The Order what is the incentive for a developer to branch out?
Is it such a foregone conclusion at this point that PS4 is the right choice that it's news when a dev chooses Xbox One?
This game is definitely fun if you like puzzle RPGs and a clever use of the Fat Princess characters / setting. Worth checking out.
The length sounds just about right, and pretty similar to one of my favorite games of all time: Shadow of the Colossus
PlayStation barcades, opening in a city near you!
I like that it is self-contained. No wires, no limited range of motion. It goes with you wherever you do, and presumably is able to track you all the while.
That said, the next big experience I was looking for was to transport me to a totally different place, not have portions of them appear in my current one.
Because they've been sued for over-promising a feature that may not work for everyone. If you and your friends have the right setup to support SharePlay (or RemotePlay), then enjoy - it truly is magical. If not, sorry, but at least they're not guaranteeing it works for everyone.
More Vita love from Mm, please! :-D
Doubt it, if Media Molecule's upcoming game is as incredible as the hints suggest it will be...
My best guess? This will be like Minecraft, but with clay and quirkiness, and a much more robust toolset for creating interaction, music & story etc. If it is a persistent, universal world, a la No Man's Sky or The Tomorrow Children, that would be even more incredible.
Regardless of your views on Gamer Gate, I thought this was a good list of things to consider, and I encourage everyone to read all 25 items.
I am thankful we live in a time where excellent indie and AAA games can live side by side and both provide compelling experiences :-)
It's like Microsoft is in class passing a note:
Do you like me?
Yes [ ]
No [ ]
What a wonderful gift this would make, for me :-)
I would love to win this!!
If she wanted to leave all of this behind, as we all had, why did she write a new article about it?
Sure, but I suspect they'd rather people buy Xbox Ones to do so.
This is clever, but I question how much this will really "pay off".
I'm more surprised they're not counter-advertising one of their own exclusives, like the Master Chief Collection, with wording specifically aimed at Destiny. Seems like it would be easy to pump up their "original guardians" angle.
While I hope that to be the case, I think the "fuss" they are talking about would be a new PS4 game upsetting a part of the community. Gravity Rush 2 coming to PS4 not Vita would certainly do that...
Just a guess but probably wants he and his indie dev company to stay relevant. Posting response videos is a pretty smart way to do so.
