This. I'd be using it on PS3 with Rock Band 3, but same question - does it work?
I'm thankful for videogame discussions. So even when you don't have the money, or the time, or the energy to actually play, we can still discuss what we're excited about, what our friends played, and what we're looking forward to playing ourselves someday :-)
If, as I suspect, Microsoft doesn't plan on making a new Xbox console next generation, it would make perfect sense to stop counting sales of them now and focus on services instead.
It's been 692 days since PS4's launch at $399... it's about damn time! :-D
Just let me play TowerFall and Helldivers on my PSTV locally with 4 players, and I'd be happy (oh and the PS1 classic Tekken 3 would be nice).
If he's the one who pushed for a sequel, and Activision didn't really want to do it, then perhaps they put so little resource behind it they basically sabotaged it on purpose to make the other franchises look preferable as an alternative?
It sure does! I know they were dabbling with VR awhile back, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of it recently. Perhaps they'll patch/update the game down the road to support that.
Wait, Xbox One has only had/will have 6 retail exclusives this year? That seems impossible.
So while Rare Replay is a great game, it came out August 4th - so I think calling it a "Holiday" title is a bit of a stretch. Similarly I wouldn't call the PS4 exclusives GoWIII: Remastered, N++, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, or Until Dawn part of PS4's "holiday lineup" either.
I'm hoping it's a Launch Trailer :-)
The art style of this game is absolutely stunning, and unique. A bit surprised it seems to be a boss-heavy bullet hell/Contra game, though. Was expecting more of sidescrolling brawler, for whatever reason.
I feel like once you're shooting projectiles, and your enemy is, it seems to be irrelevant what you look like. It's not like your short arms or their long ones are giving you an advantage/disadvantage, for instance. But perhaps this is just a slice of the game. ...
Seeing as neither Ready at Dawn nor Supermassive Games are Sony studios......
(nor Quantic Dream, for that matter)
It's hard for me to know how these might get distributed between Tokyo Game Show, Paris Games Week, and PlayStation Experience , but I know what I'm eager to see between now and the end of 2015. So here's my hopes and best guesses of what we'll see more of, and when:
TGS
+ The Last Guardian
+ Persona 5
+ Bloodborne DLC
+ Hot Shots Golf PS4
+ SFV
+ Deep Down (if it still exists :-/)
+ Gran Turismo ...
Still could be, if it's shown at TGS and becomes "available now!"
For most people any "war" is over as soon as one of the new consoles appears in their own house. At that point they tend to focus on games coming to their own system. And twice as many of those people have PS4s, so... ?
If anyone disagrees with this (I see there's already one :-) I'd like to know why - what do you think instead?
It's hard for me to know how this will get spread between TGS, Paris, and PSX (if there is one this year), but I know what I'm eager to see between now and the rest of this year. So here's my hope and best guess of what we'll see more of and when:
TGS:
+ The Last Guardian
+ Persona 5
+ Bloodborne DLC
+ Hot Shots Golf PS4
+ Gran Turismo 7
+ SFV
+ Deep Down (if it still exists :-/)
Paris ...
Is that like upping your pledge on Kickstarter?
Not sure about buying a second console, but it may be time to buy an external HDD and over-the-air antennae since both are required to take advantage of the upcoming Xbox One DVR capability.
If you're at all interested in this game I definitely recommend you check in on the Media Molecule twitch channel most Fridays around noon ET. They seem to be putting one of these out every week, and revealing quite a lot in the process :-)
