Yeah, and I have the 65" version and have had it since Feb, the picture is outstanding and crisp whether your in 2d or 3d. The 3D is actually brighter than shutter glasses as actives dim.. passives do not. I'm gonna need some of you to actually see them before you knock them.. I was about to buy active until I heard about, read about, researched and saw the passive 3d and I was all on board. Its impressive.
OMG, I never considered that.. I can do this, I have over 30 pairs of those suckers and some of the cheaper ones from cheaper theaters have it where the front comes off and you can take out the lenses. Thats perfect.. plus I can see why vizio said they can easily update their tvs to do this in the future. ... Awesome. Thanks Bonobo..
@brian... Actually that is total bs, I have the 65 inch version of this model and its actually the same experience if not better, and I researched alot before buying...I demoed and tried all of them, the vizio is brighter, there is no shuttering effect, and the glasses are lighter and cheaper, I have over 30 pairs now...its just as crisp and the 3d is just as good as active... Passive is the way to go...oh and vizio has also been working on the split screen thing, just not out yet...
Yeah, I have the Move, sharpshooter, Killzone 3 and a 65" 3D tv... and I for one love every minute.
Yeah, I was too. The Sharpshooter is awesome and the immersion of the 3D with that is a totally different experience. I cant wait for Resistance in 3D.
Honestly yes, SOME Americans (not all) would see "American based Company" Microsoft as being an advantage over a Japanese based company Sony, even though Sony is actually much better quality. Oh and 360 is cheaper... that helps alot, some of us would rather pay less and get less quality just because we are saving money. lol.. I think if the PS3 and 360 were both the SAME price, like if the PS3 was $199 and $299 like the 360, the PS3 would be doing much better here. Most people I ha...
I dont know how to answer your question cause I myself dont get why people buy the 360 over the PS3. But I can tell you why my brother in law bought his 360...or why he has one. It was a RROD console that his nephew had and he bought a new one and gave the RROD console to my Brother in law and he sent it back to MS for repair. He tells me all the time I need to support the AMERICAN company and not the other two. So some people here unfortunately are just biased no matter how bad the product i...
I cant wait for this game, Oblivion is truly one of the best games I have ever played and still play. I doubt it will happen but being Move compatible would be really cool, although you would have to give up duel wielding as the nav would have to be used for movement. It would still be awesome. But even without that.. I cant wait.
You call it "hate" I call it my opinion and answer just as you asked. If you don't want a "well thought out and constructive answer" don't ask for one. But see thats not really what you wanted. You wanted me to just give a crap reason like "cause Microsoft sucks and their da devil" so you could prove some xbox fanboy point. But I didn't do that, I gave you the truth, its proven nothing outside of casual experiences and hasn't even had ONE hardcore...
Look at it like this.
Come late Feb early March with PS3 and Move I will be standing or sitting in front of my big screen led lcd tv, Sharp shooter Move assualt rifle in hand, 3d glasses on and Killzone 3 in the Ps3 Shooting Helghast as bullets and snow and chunks of environment seem to fly out of the screen toward me while the sounds of the game come from every direction on my 7.1 surround sound. Sure the 3d may dumb down the graphics a bit but its the game-play that counts, right gu...
Some of us are truly wanting to see it either be more or die hard. I will be honest with you. If kinect can only do what it currently does, then I hope it dies a quick death cause I dont want the gaming market going the mostly casual way that kinect is right now.
However, if it can TRULY give a deep experience and actually IMPROVE on games without having to give up something in the process (like depth of games) then I hope it sells well cause it will truly push to better experiences. ...
Because so far unfortunately all kinect really has going for it are sales and FUTURE possibilities. Its all about what it can be and not what it is right now. I don't buy what can be, I buy what is, and right now it is just a very expensive camera add-on that plays very basic casual games. When it proves it can be more... I will consider spending my money on it.
Oh and just cause it sales doesn't mean its quality or worth it, just means if you market, hype and give e...
Day one buy for me, plus one for my wife (and son) for co-op, I think this thing is cool. About dang time someone made a good gun attachment. Cant wait. I like that they use the extra port on the controller to make it digital. Christmas in February.
Dang.. I'm not ashamed to say I am excited about that gun, being that its digital (The move probably plugs into it via the extra port on the bottom) and has firing modes and pumps like a shotgun, and is built by Sony which tells me it will be quality. Day one buy for me and one for my wife or son, who ever wants to play.
And its supported in Killzone 3, Time Crisis: Razing Storm, SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs and Dead Space Extraction, as well as many future PlayStation Move titles. ...
about as much fun as any kinect game, and it wont cost me near as much.
@ Cuel
And yet there has not been one single game shown that could not be done the same on the PSeye, and so much better when using the Move. Until they prove themselves, they have nothing. I cant play potential, only the games that comes from it, which so far, are hugely lacking.
@Lowcarb
"Sorry folks but this is not a kinect experience or anything close."
As much as I hate to admit it, He is right. You must get screwed out of $150 bucks for it to be a true Kinect experience. Other than that.. its pretty close.
However, I would agree with "Whateva" below and call Kinect a PS eyetoy type experience and would compare Kung Fu live to that.
I agree with all of those and also think that "Ghosthunter" would be awesome sequel for PS3. Especially perfect using the Move since the trap was thrown like a disk into the ghost after shooting it(disk golf in "Sports Champions" comes to mind). Even as a first person shooter, would be awesome.
I also liked "Second Sight" and wish they would make another one. So many great games that never saw a follow up. Oh and "Drakan: The Ancient Gates" was ...
Wow.. thats the first time I have seen that.. thats some incredible tech demos.. give us some games that use this already... bring em on.. heck, I would love for them to just make the simple tech demos available for us to download and play around with. That would be sweet to tide us over till actual games came out that use them.
Ok, for people that actually want to know if the Vizio works well let me clear up a few things like the specs.
Some are saying its 60hz halved for 3d.. thats wrong. Its 120hz, halved to 60hz for 3d.
Is it full HD? In 2d yes and it looks great, just as good as any other tv and I looked at alot of tvs before buying.
In 3d, it is not full hd, however unless you stand at 3 feet from the screen of a 65" tv you would never know it. And if you stand th...
