Will I pay for the Move for my whole family even at $250... yes, Why? Cause it works.
Kinect just doesnt work for real games and I dont consider "SKITTLESSSS... here kitty.. good skittles... oh skittles that tickles" to be a real game. Just like I dont consider "Ok jump in the raft.. lean left.. jump..lean right.. jump...jump... hands up.. jump.. lean left.. no dammit... left.. thats right.. left." to be a real game either.. its just real tiring and real annoying. ...
So the question is "If Sony and Kevin Butler can do it, then why cant MS. And the answer is simple really.
When KB does it, people KNOW that he is on Sony's payroll. When MS has actors do it, they are trying to make it out like the actors are just saying it on their own. For Sony, its advertising and everyone knows it.. For MS its celebrity endorsements and in this case if their truly being paid or given special bribes to say it... its wrong.
Most all the footage was faked and what wasnt was laggy and or just plain crap.
On topic: Sony's conference was very well done and The Move was actually working and truly being demoed unlike Kinect. Sure I would have liked to have seen more and who wouldnt want something to be cheaper but all in all, it was a much much better show than MS.
Less than 3 months till the Move is here. Will buy it on day one.
Kinect.. only if it was free and even then, look...
Yeah for my family of 4 I will have to pay $260 for us to have the complete experience (I have the PSeye)but it will be well worth it and I am sure Sony will have controller bundles. But the accuracy and responsiveness and Games that Sony are making for it are awesome and NOTHING out there can touch it. Especially the hugely laughable Kinect. Once I saw it, I felt bad for MS. Love the new 360 and will actually buy it now, but will not buy Kinect. Nintendo and Sony blew MS away this year.
The controller has to be seen by the camera and he is holding it off the bottom of the screen and out of view.
The guy was holding the controller down so far that the ball was off screen and out of view of the camera...lol.. Quit trying, just cause Kinect sucks doesnt mean Move has to.. in fact , Move actually works.
I watched the conference and the car didnt match his movements. 95 percent of their showings was staged and you could tell. The Move is much better for most all experiences.
It did seem like less lag although the lag is still there and is noticeable. However where I see the problems is the glitches that seem to be happening alot. Sometimes its seems like the avatar is kind of wavy and other times they just spaz out. I still dont see there being any true pin point accuracy. My kids may love it though. If it turns out ok, and thats a big IF, then maybe this will cause me to buy a 360. Disagree all you want, but at least I am being honest.
lol.. somebody is afraid of the Move.
Sorry to break it to you little guy, but your the dumb ass fan boy ranting in a PS3 Move post. Now calm down, have a warm glass of milk and off to bed with you. I'm sure your mommy will come and read you a story... after she washes your mouth out with soap.
On Topic. Sony is doing great with the Move and I am sure it will only get better. From what Ive seen, its a day one buy for me and my family. My wife and kids and I will...
So your going to dismiss every person that has actually PLAYED these games in 3D and said they are Awesome and great and really add to the games immersion, and then spew out your own opinion which is an uneducated one seeing as how you have never tried the games they tried? And we should listen to you why? Oh, because you ave played a couple 3D games on PC...lol...You sound like a fanboy Sony hater, but who knows.. maybe you just hate change. Yeah... ok...
From my own experie...
I agree, and Sony is the only ones pushing 3D TV's and such... Oh wait, no their not, practically every tv maker has one out including Vizio with their 72 inch 3D TV coming out this year which is what I will upgrade to from my 55 inch.
"Bad decisions and complete ignorance toward taking a lesson in history." <<<Maybe you should apply this to your comments. ALL these Electronic companies are much smarter than you are... sorry to break it to you.
I never mentioned hardcore gamers and only mention casuals as those that just pick up and play every so often but dont strive to truly beat a game or get better at a game with more and more skill.
I believe that if you will indeed read and actually comprehend what I was saying, you will see I was talking about the differences in CASUAL games(those games that require no skill, no actual time playing and learning to get better, not to mention most of the time with a casual game, b...
Can you provide a link saying it supports 8 and not 4.. cause all I see is 4. Just curious... I dont think its 8. You would have to have a Huge living room just for 4.
Yeah but problem is most Hardcore games are those games that NEED buttons and your right, those HARDCORE games won't be NATAL games. So, I guess NATAL will just have to focus on ALL THOSE other EXTREMELY CASUAL possibilities CASUAL gamers can experience that won't necessitate a button.
There, Problem solved. Not sure why such an easy problem is so hard for you to understand.
What they have shown so far practically shouts out CASUAL, and MS has not s...
I have a 55 inch 1080p TV and this game does not look like they show on here. Its quite crisp and clear. I call BS. The games looks great and plays great.
I can so see these two hosting E3 together and taking swipes at each other for show just like they did here... DO IT SONY, MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Sony has struck gold here with these two. KB just has to be at E3 with JT.. lol.. He just has to.
Maybe its a bit less, but maybe he called it speculation cause its actually more, although I dont see that happening.
But think about all this thing is supposed to do. Why do yall insist that the ability to self level itself with its own motor, use two cameras to recognize objects, track your entire body, do voice recognition and skeleton mapping, in a 3D space, to more than one person at a time, in the dark, will only be worth $75? I mean.. thats just sounds about stupid. ...
It had to cost them money to buy the company that made natal. It also had to cost them to design and recreate it into what they needed it for, and it has to be and will be costing them to manufacture and advertise it, so do you really expect them to not sell it for quite a bit more than what it cost to build it so they can recoup their money?
You really expect them to work on it for a couple years and then sell it for $60 and take a loss on it? Thats not MS's way, not the MS I kno...
Actually your wrong, People keep saying that the DS passed the PS2.. but the PS2 is at over 140 mil and DS is just at over 128 mil. Plus, how many different DS's did they have to make to do that? I mean, they keep just making the same thing over and over adding just a few extras to make people buy them over and over again. DS, DSLITE, DSI, DSIXL, and now the 3DS... lol.. its taken them 3 redesigns (adding new features each time) to do sales that Sony did with 1 redesign (just making it sl...
The situation has been flipped. A couple little items called the EYETOY and the PSeye.. and guess what.. they didnt do all that well. WHY? I'm glad you asked.
Well its because it lacked a little feature called BUTTONS and something to hold. Dr Marks knew gamers needed something to interact with physically so he began working on it with the PS2 Eyetoy with a ball on a stick. Then he recognized the need for buttons and so he came up with the MOVE. And what is the Move? Its a ball, o...
