Huge Lag issues
Extremely casual game issues with very little interaction
NO precision whatsoever
High price for what it does
MULTIPLE issues with its ability to track which causes glitches.
Every game so far which requires forward or reverse movement.. is on rails (which isnt 3D)
No rumble feedback.
Nothing to actually hold in your hands which is in fact (despite what yall say) natural. (most every weapon or item in real life, has a han...
lol.. its not the software thats the problem.. Its kinect... it just doesnt work yet, not like its supposed to. And I believe if people actually see how it works, they will not buy it. The problem here is that as MS has already proven, they will have ads that make it look like it works PERFECTLY.. When it doesnt.. and I hope people turn around and take it back the store when they see it doesnt. Its time we teach MS that we dont buy junk. Unfortunately some people will buy anything their fav c...
INVENTORY...lol
Lets them know how many sold and how many to order and such.
... its been this way for a while now.. yall should get out more.
And for high priced items like game systems and such, Walmart can even tell if you bought it from them. So, tracking how many actually sold.. should be very easy.. I would tend to believe Sony, MS and Nintendo as to how they count.
I personally know several that will buy Move this Christmas. My Inlaws for one, my Parents will buy it, as will my brother and his family. I also have a few friends that I work with that are excited about it. Once people truly see or try the Move they will see how great it is. Just like once people TRULY see kinect... they will see its crap. Those of you that are saying "Well Kinect will sell because MS will market it heavily"
Sony plans to do the same with COKE. But there w...
Why It COULD be huge. It the old "The Idea Has Potential" argument. And I agree, ON PAPER, Kinect works. The IDEA behind it is fine... however, I dont pay for good ideas, I pay for good products and Kinect isnt a good product. MS hasnt proven anything except that it does extremely casual games, and it doesnt even do those well. Get off this whole "It could be good" or "It has alot of potential" kick.. cause until MS proves it.. It has nothing. It may sell.. but t...
Its a day one buy for me and my family and I'm gonna have to buy the full setup since I have a wife and 2 kids. So I'll be getting 4 moves, 2 navs and several of the accessories (guns) and games, already have one PSeye, though I will be buying the Move pack and will just give the new PSeye to my son for his PS3. So I told my wife we will be spending around $500 to $600 on Sept 19. lol.. she is actually ok with that too.. she cant wait either.
Sorry double post
Its gesture based unfortunatly, which was the developers decision and I think it will cost them in game sales...I doubt I will be buying that game due to that fact. The Move however is 1:1.
Omega proves once again that he in fact knows absolutely nothing about what he is talking about and is in fact just a troll.
Oh and for those that say you need to spend more to play Move to have the same or a better experience than Kinect has. Wrong, If you only want to play the simpler completely CASUAL games like that of Kinect, all you need is the MOVE controller, or two for two players. So for the Same type experience (but with far greater precision and better games) on the Move you need only spend $150 for two people.
Now, IF you want far greater experiences than casual games can give for Kine...
They actually asked questions that mattered, like "Why no analog stick on the move? ...and I am ok with the answer. Makes sense. I am very impressed and cant wait to buy a full set for my family on day one. Gonna be great fun.
His 3 move on 3 navs answer surprised me. I thought it was 2 on 2. I am sure most games will only do 2 on 2 or 4 total people but its cool to see that it could possible do more maybe in the future (you never know)
The 3D will become standard in all TV's as electronic companies push it whether you use it or not. But I think people will use it. The same people that are saying these 3dtv's wont sell are the ones that said 3D movies wouldnt do that good but guess what, they are. Thats why ALOT of movies are coming out in 3D. Its only logical it move to homes as people who pay for it in theaters will pay for it at home. I know the Vizio 72" has my name on it in spring of 2011.
Thanks for showing me I still dont want to by a 360. I havent bought one because of the poor reliability and thought maybe with the new one I would finally take the plunge.. but no.. still sucks.
Come Feb I will be giving my son my 55" HDTV and buying the 72" Vizio 3D HDTV. It also has the wireless HDMI reciever. Can not wait. Add in the Move I am getting in Sept and its going to be awesome experiences with the PS3. Sony (and Vizio) is giving me everything I want... and more. (well technically selling me everything I want.. but you get the point.
PS3 is said to have 20+ games at launch, Kinect is said to have about 15. But, IMO with kinect it doesnt matter how may games are out. Every single one shown so far is terrible. Not one game has any accuracy, any depth or any true gameplay interaction. Yet with Move All the games they have show work great and have more depth than all the kinect games put together. I wish MS had proved that Kinect was great.. but they havent and kinect isnt.
The only thing "wow" about Kinect...
If the two were even in their games, experiences and quality, then you could use price. But the Move is so far beyond what kinect has to offer, it really isnt a comparison. Move works. Kinect.. is crap. I have said this time and time again. Kinect has not shown anything to prove its anything outside of extremely casual crap. With Move, you get what you pay for and more. With Kinect, from what they have shown this far... you get cheated no matter what it cost.
"I also sort of liked Move, but there is a lot I'd like to know or see before I drop cash on that as well. With Kinect it's something I've not seen before, so I am interested, plus the other tech seems interesting, voice controls and the like."
Ok.. So Sony has answered all the questions everybody has had, they have shown multiple games, some core, some casual and they all work really good. Youve seen demo after demo of people trying most those games at ...
If by Sony's strategy you mean making games that actually work and look great and play great, then no.. Sony you keep doing exactly what your doing. Move will sell once people see it in action. I am buying 4 Move controllers, 2 navs and a second PSeye to go in my sons room for his PS3, which probably means I will be getting him his own set of controllers as well, all at launch. So count me in as well.
If you want to call that a game.. well thats your right.. I call that an embarrassment for MS. No skill, no accuracy, no precision.. heck its barely interactive.... much less a game.
lol.. Never before and hopefully never again... I cant believe they are even going to sell this POS.
"By this point our suspicions that Kinect’s games had been speed-gimped to allow for lag was wailing in our ears like a banshee with a klaxon horn."
"but once again found zero in the way of challenge. 11 seconds of on-the-spot knee-pumping and we had a world record. On our first go. As for overcoming the hurdles themselves, that was no more challenging. There's a window of opportunity for a successful jump, and as you approach each hurdle a green light flas...
