Why in the world would anyone (like me) who wants a bl-ray player and a ps3, buy both a stand alone player and a ps3 when you can get both for a lower price in one powerful and quiet unit. Heck, I turned it off on most games anyway cause it was annoying. Its time to get rid of the old and done to death and bring in something new. Immersions just scared cause they know once PS3 gamers dont have it, they wont care and wont really miss it. Blu-ray shouldnt have much a problem becoming the standard. The ONLY price difference is the players and thats only because toshiba made as cheap a player they could. Read the reviews, its slow and FULL of bugs and I mean full, not to mention they left out many of the capabilities common with dvd players of current.
