Great review as well. Nice and informative.
I'm loving Arkham Asylum. What a great game. The joker rooms are fun too, they provide such a different play style than you experience as Batman. The Batcave in Home is a nice touch. Too bad that doesn't change the fact that Home is just not that fun.
At least the game is rockin!
It is a big draw for a console (even though people can watch netflix on their PCs) so I am not surprised they made it exclusive as quickly as they could.
Owning both a PS3 and 360, I get blu-rays for my PS3 FROM Netflix. They benefit each other and, most especially, me.
"The PS3 Slim’s announcement at this point is obvious and I don’t feel like beating a dead horse. I’ll let the N4G crowd kill each other over this one."
Hahahah! Nailed it.
Yay fanboys, ur still idiots.
(Written with equal love for my PS3, 360, Wii, iPhone 3GS, and PC)
Good for her for not falling into the stereotypes of the Elderly and for reaching out to new forms of entertainment and technology.
extensively, for both video and audio editing, on both PCs and Macs, I can say with confidence that they are equal. After testing both extensively, the video production company I work for eventually went with PCs simply because of price.
is a freakin steal. I know, I've played through the whole dang thing and loved every second.
I recommend that ANYONE that hasn't played Oblivion yet pick it up now.
Force Unleashed for 20 aint bad either.
on the respective capabilities of each console, I do see them as 1) an indicator of which version is best in regards to consumer spending, and 2) the capability of the developer (while keeping in mind both dev time and budget).
Almost as awesome as the Shivering Isles was for Oblivion. That is the Bethesda I remember.
and Blockbuster have tended to be in better condition than the DVD's I've picked up. I'm just saying.
What will really be interesting is how Mtion Plus, Natal, and Sony's motion controls all stack up in the end.
It obviously improved the motion sensing capabilities, but maybe not as much as Nintendo has implied.
I like what I'm seeing here.
By the use of the term "gamer nobody" and saying "the typical gamer is an imbecile [and] will accept any tripe and proclaim it to be glorious" you portray yourself negatively. Does insulting the average gamer make your point more or less true? Speaking more broadly, does being separate from the norm translate universally to being better? Case in point, Edge is entitled to its unique opinion, because that is simply what a review is. However, consistently providing a dif...
That sux. We really do have it good price-wise in the U.S. I lived in Australia for a few years and prices there were horrid. I feel for my Aussie, European, and Canadian gaming brethren.
What am I going to be tapping? ;)
The library game me the most techical problems, particularly with slowdown. Still a great game though.
we should learn to get along.
But I am mad at mandatory installs on games that don't perform as well as others that don't require them. Ex: Killzone 2, Burnout Paradise, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Red Faction: Guerrilla, and more. It's games like Ghostbusters, which doesn't run as well as on 360, yet require a 3.9 gig install, that bother me.
Trust me ya'll, this one is more fun than you know. Great multiplayer.
