I love fileplanet.
Those ads are funny.
and I am LOVING IT! With Netflix on both my 360 and PS3 I no longer have to switch systems to stream movies. In addition, so far the PS3 has streamed more reliably.
Too bad about the stupid disk...
Molyneux might run the mouth a bit, but he has still made some great games.
Only sometimes, my friend. ;) I wouldn't ever try to stop you from enjoying MW2, or any other game. In fact, it is most certainly a well made game. I simply mean to express my disappointment that true originality, the risky kind, is just not awarded as often as I would hope. That and formulaic repetition is, in my opinion of course, overly rewarded.
With that in mind, game on and have fun!
Edit: And perhaps you are on to something. I will be a little more positiv...
Hope these work and don't eff things up.
docking points from other games for not meeting that expectation, and then doesn't treat MW2 to the same scrutiny. No wonder I have absolutely no faith in anything they say. Give me strength.
Exactly! I avoid that series too.
Yup. Madden is another repetitive series, but at least it is restricted by the fact that Football has certain, long established, real world rules. But thanks for another good example of lack of creativity! I owe you one.
and the same basic multiplayer formula as the previous two installments. Lets here it for incremental improvements! Who needs true artistic risk taking?
And it is a great service all around. That said, the PS3 streamed The Big Lebowski in HD with considerably less trouble than my 360 and at comparable quality. Sadly, the 360 gave me the "adjusting playback quality" screen several times, even though both systems are sharing the same connection. One test at my house, of course, proves nothing, but it is worth sharing.
ON THE OTHER HAND, taking Uncharted 2 out of my PS3 every time I want to stream a movie is no fun. I l...
But I still think Lens of Truth does a bang up job.
I'm not trying to defend Gabe who definitely has a big fat mouth and stokes fires that shouldn't even exist. In fact, his PS3 stance has long angered me. I simply refer to Valve, the company that employees more people than just its aggravating leader. I do so not to support what the company does wrong, but what the company does right. Me saying I personally appreciate Steam doesn't mean I agree with Gabe's stance on Sony's console. With that in mind, I'm not going to let certain individuals...
The fact is, as a PC gamer I haven't PERSONALLY found a better source of convenient distribution than Valve's Steam service. There are competitors, such as Direct2Drive, other sites, and brick and mortar stores, but they simply don't currently match Steam's community of gamers, ease of installation after downloading, or ready user support. At least as far as I have experienced. With that in mind, why should I hate Steam if it is easy and convenient and a great venue for PC gaming companies ...
Awesome. Can't wait to try her out on my PS3. Gonna do a comparison to that on my 360.
Not only to run Crysis itself, but the bevy of other powerhouse titles coming out in the next year that will simply run better on a high end PC.
After years of thinking it over I finally buckled down and got a high end rig for myself four weeks ago. I chucked in an intel i7 processor, 9 gig of DDR3 ram, and an ATI Radeon HD 4850. I've never seen gaming look so good.
This is a I deal I won't be missing out on.
Is it not a game platform? Why is it morally wrong to point out that if you really want top notch visuals, buy a top notch PC?
Look, I've been loving Uncharted 2 on my PS3 and admire what Naughty Dog has accomplished visually. It's a fun, attractive game. HOWEVER, it doesn't compare at all to numerous games running on maximum settings on my PC.
Almost every PC game lets me choose the quality of a games draw-distance, lighting, shaders, textures, shadow, anti-aliasi...
Too bad I sold my Wii a year ago.
Isn't it obvious why I'm not buying the game?
