With such a high level of ambition it was either going to do well or fail miserably. I'm glad it did well.
Been playing through the first installment and am very excited for this new one. Dragon Age: Origins is pretty awesome too. Gotta Hand it to Bioware. They know what they are doing.
I have it on a couple of my games and it just runs in the background. It also lets me communicate with friends that happen to be on Xbox Live while i'm on my PC.
Regarding the game itself, Bioshock 2 is looking to be quite a good time.
Edit: I'm not some GFWL or Microsoft junkie - i'm much more of a Steam user - but I just haven't personally ran into any problems microsoft's platform. Fallout 3 has performed beautifully and with few glitches and so has Age of Co...
The original was a great time, but really had nothing that made it outstanding and had some serious issues. Glad to hear that EA Montreal has listened to the suggestions of gamers and improved the game overall.
HALODECK!!
I consistently disagree with Edge. 10 for Bayonetta? The oversexed action fest that is light on story and character development and heavy on boobs and butt? A horny fifteen year old's dream, perhaps, but really? Grown men came up with that score?
There is no outlet I ignore like edge.
I bought the blu-ray as soon as it was available. Btw, if you want good prices on all things blu-ray, Amazon offers the best prices by far.
MW2 as best of 2009? Sure, its a well made, engaging game, but what about creativity? What about pushing boundaries? Taking gaming to unexplored areas, not improved areas.
Batman and Scribblenauts I agree with. Even Borderlands, but where is Dragon Age? Left 4 Dead 2? I mean... come on.
Played through and had a blast.
Even though i much prefer the software offered on other platforms to that currently found on Nintendo's Wii, I do admire the results of the creativity and willingness to steap away from many long established console traditions.
You deserve better than what these new internet changes give to you. I personally hope you fight this action tooth and nail. Where is the justice in a system that punishes without trial? What kind of government encourages companies to spy on and then turn in their own customer base?
What of censorship? Michelangelo's works of naked people can be shown all over, but you can't shoot a pretend gun at a pretend monster without it being "bad?" IT'S NOT REAL.
Looks like a great interactive toy to me. Too bad the article doesn't give much for tech specs.
I hope Microsoft takes advantage of this
The co-op mode seems like a fun inclusion, having already played through the game on an HD console.
Seeing as I already have one... and am downloading the new, MASSIVE, open world RPG Ravensword: The Fallen King as I type this message.
I'm no Mac snob by any means, but I simply have not seen a wider range of games and apps than the iPhone anywhere.
Oh, and Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES is a hoot here in the office over the wifi.
Whether or not the series appeals to you, it's a hallmark. Nice to see the newest expansion get a worthy score.
These fixes are gonna make Conan a better experience.
I didn't mean "save your money" buy purchasing a PC that can run games, cuz PCs at that level are obviously expensive. I meant...
if having the best graphics is so darn important, "save your money," as in save up for a while cuz it's gonna cost you, and buy a high end gaming PC. Then you can crank the graphics, as mentioned previously, to levels the consoles can't touch.
Yup, it's expensive, and definitely not in everyone's budget. However, if h...
I spent a good chunk of change in early October for a PC running on an Intel core i7 processor, 9 Gig DDR3, and an ATI Radeon HD 4850...with another 4850 going in next week. Yes, it was a bit expensive, however, I don't think that cost declerations should be REQUIRED for any type of visual comparison. It is just silly that all these articles compare the visuals of two platforms...for a game appearing on THREE platforms.
As was said above, do articles then need to state the cost...
Get a PS3 for top-notch exclusives/Blu-ray and a 360 for Multiplats.
This is, of course, not always the case by any means, but is generally good advice. That's just what I do, anyway.
(Oh, and any multi-plat available on PC is almost always the best option, there are exceptions, of course, but just as a general truth.)
