I love gaming on Xbox Live, but the experience isn't worth $60.00 USD, especially when I game online via Steam and PSN for free. These services might not offer quite as much as 360's Xbox Live, but is that difference worth $60.00? No, it's not. In fact, Party chat and checking others gamerscore's and ratings (buy others) isn't close to $60.00 in value. This is simply a bad move by Microsoft.
I should also clarify that I am by no means the type to play ...
and there are still several aspects I haven't fully explored...and that is a good thing! I know it can be bad for some, but for me it adds a layer of depth by continuously giving me new things to do, places to go, things to try.
@Blowstuffup
Ya, i hope the PC version is truly optimized for the platfrom rather than a simple port because Fallout: NV is on my Radar too.
I love my PS3, 360, etc... but that doesn't mean I am suddenly required to like every major title. Same goes for my Wii,iPhone and Gaming PC. There are many amazing titles on every one of these platforms, but that doesn't necessarily mean that each critical hit is "my cup of tea." It's just like movies. Who hasn't seen a critically acclaimed movie that, for whatever reason, didn't strike you like it might have struck others.
Big Hits I loved:...
The beauty of gaming is that nobody is forced to play anything they don't want to. And why is it okay to play as a Nazi - a group affiliated with far reaching, commonly perceived evil - when said party is arguably responsible for crimes far exceeding that of the Taliban?
Learn geography.
that an Xbox 360 with hardware finalized in 2004 isn't going to perform like a new gaming PC.
I love my 360 and PS3, but when feeling like a graphics whore everybody knows PC is where to go...if you have the money.
Moving on, I'm sure the Fallout: NV will perform fine across the board; it will look good on Ps3 and 360 and best on PC. That's naturally how it is at this point in the current gen.
It looks fun to me!
You represent the biggest problem N4G faces as a site. You don't want to contribute, you want to say stupid things to an audience. Thanks for nothing.
Anyway, ME2 looks great! I'm stoked it will now be available to PS3 gamers. Such a great series should be enjoyed by all.
It should run just fine.
Don't freakin' steal.
Starcraft II is running GREAT on my MacBook Pro and even BETTER on my PC!
I haven't had any of the problems this guy discusses. Maybe he should quit being so lazy? ;) See what I did there?
but ya, not available digitally on either service. I just ended up buying the 2nd season two weeks ago.
Back on topic, Hulu + just doesn't seem worth the money at all. Netflix has, literally, almost 10 times the content right now and doesn't show ads.
Winner? Isn't it obvious?
And I am glad they have changed their image and improved their lineup. Once upon-a-time EA was the most reviled company in Gaming. Activision has handily taken that terrible honor.
I mean, I honestly chuckle when I hear "PC gaming is dead" from some console exclusive fanboy.
People like you make the world a worse place. I'm not a Muslim but I live near a Muslim neighborhood and have many Muslim neighbors. They have been nothing but kind, patient, clean, respectful and, above all, contributing citizens.
By generalizing an entire group you make them want to do the same. You are the type of person that make Muslims think American's and other westerners all hate them. You create hate. Your line of thinking is what motivates terrorists.
Hulu Plus seemed a bit "off" to me as a service and now I see why.
Having the disc in is no big deal but it will be nice to not have to switch/insert (the) disc(s) like on my 360. It's good to see progress.
Best of all, ALL SEASONS OF FAMILY GUY are going to be available soon for streaming!! First South Park, then Futurama, and now Family Guy! I just couldn't ask for more :)
Lastly, I'm also glad to hear that the PS3 Netflix Interface is going to be dynamically updated. Honestly, the 360 version looks and func...
And yes, watch what you say about PS3 in here, anything negative is tantamount to murder. I own and love a Ps3 but I also own and love a 360...how dare I like both!
So yes, stop trolling and simultaneously stereotyping gamers you don't even personally know. I enjoy the COD series as well as countless others on a multitude of platforms. I've actually purchased almost 20 games in 2010.
It's sad that the first comment on here is some tool hating and stereotyping.
