I really do think the PS3 exclusives are more enticing. Having spent years gaming on both PS3 & 360 there are some interesting titles on both sides, but I have never even heard of several of the 360 titles mentioned or they just don't interest me personally. In contrast, over half of the PS3 exclusives named are, to be honest, future purchases.
Secondly, Fable III, Xcom, & Mass Effect 3 are not exclusives; they are also available on PC. (And ME3 will probably b...
And yes, reviews CAN even be very useful from credible sources. However, I am getting MoH simply because, after playing in both the PC and PS3 multiplayer betas, I loved it; reviews be damned.
That the MP is the best part, although still flawed. Either way, having now participated in both the PS3 and PC betas I am thrilled to be picking this one up today. It might not be the best shooter ever, but it does suit my particular style of play. Good times!
I was impressed with how accessible it is and fun. Really a good time. I'm now considering a purchase.
Glad to see some decent reviews coming in.
I am THRILLED for Resistance 3.
I hoped onto a co-op game of Resistance 2 last night and a flood of great memories came back. It was a great time.
I love the resistance series - the first series I get "into" this gen - and I am thrilled for another go at the hideous Chimera!
Oh how I hope this issue gives us a release date - or at least a release window! GIMME GIMME
Nick, You are absolutely entitled to the opinion that this gen isn't as good as last. That is a subjective point of view and you and anyone else is free to have it. I personally feel that this gen is more engaging than last, particularly with the highest ever penetration of mobile and online gaming features, but that is just my own subjective opinion. In other words, there is no right or wrong in siding with either generation. It's simply personal preference. Oh, and it isn't c...
If Microsoft suddenly left the gaming world (which I strongly doubt will happen), all of gaming would suffer. The fact of the matter is that the competition between Sony and Microsoft have pushed both to increasingly higher levels of quality.
Even though I prefer my PS3 to my Xbox 360, I see how the popularity of Xbox Live has prompted Sony to make the PlayStation Network a better place to game than ever before, as well as inspiring them to make better exclusives than ever b...
Wow.
I loved the PS3 multiplayer and, as for the servers for the new PC beta, it is working great on Steam. I just finished four matches without any lag, without getting kicked, etc... Good stuff.
To each their own.
I'm excited. I loved the first installment, def looking forward to the sequel.
I've been planning on picking this one up and it is looking solid.
Didn't want Killzone 3 and Gears 3 too close together anyway.
I'm sad to see EA crumble and I'm sad that the world is so over sensitive. The politically correct can kiss my ass.
I'm getting excited!
I also hope the DLC following release is more on par with Point Lookout than Operation Anchorage or The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3. DLC for an open-world game should be OPEN.
Its great multiplayer converted me. Looking like I will pick this one up.
1) spend your free time modding and hacking Xbox 360 games (GO GET A GIRLFRIEND and stop wasting time trying to hack Halo you NERD) and 2) Apparently can't compete at the same level as anyone else and therefore need to cheat.
Seriously, every time I see videos of hacked console games I think both of those things.
It's one thing to game as a hobby. It's another to spend huge amounts of time trying to create cheats while also taking the time to put...
At the risk of MANY disagrees, MoH is an awesome game and I'm starting to doubt how much time reviewers who gave the game a low score actually spent with the Multiplayer.
Having spent countless hours playing numerous quality shooters ( Battlefield: BC2, Resistance 1 & 2, the Halo Franchise, Killzone 2, years of the CoD franchise, etc...all of which offered great experiences) I am shocked that Medal of Honor is being written off so poorly.
Although the...
