for Resistance 3. I love that it is set right here on earth during an alternative history apocalypse. Awesome in every way.
I loved both previous installments, although admittedly the first was better. I'm sure that with Insomniac's track record, and all they learned from the first two, that the third will be Phenomenal.
I LOVED the first Motorstorm and have been waiting for the right time to jump into the sequel. Gonna be a blast :)
Also, May just have to check out Ratchet & Clank. I loved the first PS3 installment.
I love the Greatest Hits lineup.
Good thing I went w/PC on this one. I love Valve's support for their games.
I'm stoked to see the return of the Zombie mode.
Frankly, I don't understand it. At this point the average performance differences on multiplat Games are tiny. Why isn't Capcom meeting the same quality as so many other devs? It's bizarre they don't understand that releasing sub par versions of their titles is slowly alienating the world's 38 Million PS3 gamers. Come to think of it, I haven't purchased a single Capcom game in the 3 and 1/2 years I've owned a PS3...because Capcom's games ALWAYS require mass...
Been waiting to try this out, I've heard so much about it.
Microsoft had the chance to completely dominate PC gaming and instead has let Steam take over by completely focusing on Xbox and Xbox Live.
Now, I love my Xbox360, but all that effort from Microsoft still hasn't prevented Nintendo or Sony from finding success this gen. In fact, despite Msoft's efforts, I still prefer my PS3. And guess what gaming platform I spend the most time on when gaming on PC? Yup, Steam.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad th...
Well...that's .3 higher than the average out there, right?
You gotta love creative performances based on best-loved games of yore.
The answer to your question is "Yes." You are welcome to feel differently.
I've been thinking of doing just that. I love my Wii but it sees so little game time in comparison to my PS3. I just have the sinking sensation that more highly sensitive motion controls - in HD no less - will be a more rewarding experience; especially as bigger and better titles, such as Killzone 3, utilize move.
And the entry level configuration of this thing is over $7,600.00 USD!
Now, the components are impressive - liquid cooled everything including the 360, overclocked i7 930, 12X Blu-ray burner, SLI Nvidia GTX 480, and plenty of other bells and whistles - but SWEET HOLY MOTHER! $7669.00? How many people are out there with that kind of money and willing to part with it for games?
Oh well, it's still cool.
It's just not "news" anymore that exclusives look better on PS3 and multi-plats look better on 360. There are exceptions to these rules, of course, but they are generally true.
I'm excited to give Ninja Theory's latest a go-round. I've always admired their work.
I enjoyed the beta and the fixes seem to be spot on.
to see new consoles before holiday season 2013. Think about it; a full featured 360 with connect is over $400 USD. A 160 gig Ps3 with with Move is even more. I'm not saying the prices are bad! I simply mean that getting all the bells and whistles for 2 out of 3 of the current gen consoles is still far above $199.00.
Couple those costs with the need to be profitable this gen and the motivation for Sony or Msoft to undercut their current offerings with something is nill. ...
Some of the stuff they mentioned is good, but Game Booster is almost essential. Nothing like freeing up 400+ megs of Ram for your game by shutting down all those silly background programs you don't need to game.
Is anyone surprised that people hanging out on a game site look down on other, "lesser" forms of gaming? I'm not. Anyway, I game heavily on my iPhone. I also game heavily on my PC, PS3, 360, Mac and even Wii. And yes, the PSP and DS are also a total blast.
So...with so many other options, why do I still game on my iPhone? Because, whether DS or PSP fanboys want to admit it, there ARE MANY QUALITY GAMES available on Apple's "i" platforms. Yes, ...
But lately I don't appreciate their efforts very much, mostly because of their lackluster efforts on PS3. Now, I love my 360 as well, but look at Dead Rising 2, for example. Nearly a 3 gig HDD install on PS3 and it still runs worse, and at a lower resolution, than 360's version? What the hell!?! Crappy ports are so early 2008.
Anyway, Capcom has some great series...but I want to see better efforts across the board.
