Passing judgement on a game you haven't played is ridiculous. If you haven't played Killzone 3, how can you make any claims for or against its quality in comparison to Half Life 2?
People who claim it is not better are EVERY BIT as foolish as those who claim it will be better.
IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THROUGH THE ENTIRE GAME YET, YOU CAN'T ACCURATELY JUDGE EITHER WAY.
Let Killzone 3 stand on its own. And yes, HL2 is a great gam...
I actually really like the size of the PSP2. As someone who regularly uses the (rather small) iPhone 4 and the (rather too large to be easily mobile) iPad, the PSP2 looks to be just the right balance. With a big screen but still "pocket-size" unlike the iPad, I think Sony is on to something.
I was really impressed by Dead Space 2's visuals. The improvement from the demo to the actual release was also noticeably impressive.
Well...that's encouraging. I'm excited to try this out.
Lame, but not lame enough for me to cancel my Netflix account. I will go complain at Netflix.com though.
Interesting to see Bioware reinstated the V-synch and frame rate cap. I don't think that was necessarily a bad decision, but it does prevent those nice frame rate spikes the demo saw.
Overall, I think the Ps3 debut of ME2 is looking great. This is an excellent game on every platform.
Looking forward to Killzone 3 and its control style. Killzone 2's controls didn't suffer from lag, however, they were just designed to feel "real." A big guy holding several guns and a bunch of ammo isn't exactly gonna be super fast.
I do look forward to a little faster though.
Clever! I like it. Made me laugh :)

Bless your heart, my friend. I'm not the one attributing this rise in the value of Msoft's stock because of the release of Halo 3; just a little no-name publication called THE NEW YORK TIMES. To quote the Time's article:
"Microsoft’s shares rose yesterday by 1.7 percent, closing at $29.56, on the expectation of strong sales. The Halo franchise, which has sold more than 15 million copies since its introduction in 2001, has ...

I completely concur that Multiplats are more profitable, and often enjoy higher sales, than exclusives. Of course they do, they have a shockinly larger audience. It's simply a wise move for the majority of devs to make games available on multiple platforms.
I simply took exception at Sleepy 3's comment that "the world doesn't care about exclusives"... especialy after lumping me in with some undefined group of "guys&q...
@ Sleepy3
Who exactly are the "guys" that need to "get it" that you have decided to categorize me with? Thanks for stereotyping me, a complete stranger, based on one brief comment in a video game forum.
Separately, how dare I enjoy exclusive games? Right? How dare I? Similarly, how dare I keep an interested eye on the value of exclusives? Especially quality series like Halo, Uncharted, Gears of War, and others that have sold millions. ...
Exactly. A $50 or so price-cut, combined with Sony's impressive release schedule of exclusives, could do a world of good for PS3.
I'd throw in "endless COD complaints" on the forums of every site everywhere. I'm not defending COD, I'm simply tired of whiners going on and on and on and on AND ON about why they don't like it blah blah blah. How do endless complaints on unrelated sites do anything? If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you bought it and don't like it, don't go buy the next one and expect anything different. Yes, all this patch crap in Black Ops is ridiculous, ...
Here is what I'm predicting:
Skyrim will be Totally AWESOME!!
I agree the game will have improved menus, better facial structure, improved physics, realistic terrain traversal (none of that float-along-the-ground crap seen in Bethesda's other open world games) and better visuals all around. A re-tooled combat system will also be a treat.
Can't wait for this one.
Very Interesting. Good to see it helped this woman seek early treatment. Earlier the better.
This was well written and thoroughly illustrates that failoverflow and Geohot are, unintentionally or otherwise, contributing to something ugly. They can discourage piracy all they want individually, but that doesn't change the fact that they are publicly enabling less ethical individuals to do exactly that. (Note: I disagree that Sony is to blame for "building a hackable system," but everything else was good.)
From all of this I gather that the ends (the abil...
It's one thing to bend the rules/physics of a private game filled with friends, all aware of the new rules. It's an entirley other (and ugly) thing to use hacks to ruin the fun of strangers. They paid money to play the game and you are ruining it for them.
Why would you do that?
Sad to hear of the delay. Hopefully it lets them make a better game.
I love the translations. They crack me up. Thanks Google Translator!
Anybody know when it is coming to North America?
Playing ME2 on any platform, be it PS3, 360, or PC is a good idea.
Gamers on all three win playing ME2. It's just a damn fine game.
