I love PC Gaming and I love Steam. It's a good time to be a gamer.
Yes! I'm stoked! Gonna download this when I head home for lunch.
I'll be shooting back at y'all later!
I've played through Plants vs. Zombies on my iPhone4, Gaming PC, and Macbook Pro. This is one hell of a fun game.
If you haven't played yet I strongly recommend giving it a go on any platform.
I"m stoked. Awesome to see Guerilla reach such heights of optimization. They truly are professionals.
Clever. Bulletstorm's marketing has been fun to watch.
Question: Was anyone else disappointed by the Bulletstorm Demo though? I had been looking forward to it, but after playing through a few times it just seemed...shallow, both visually and audibly. Hopefully these things are tightened up before release.
Me too. Motorstorm is a riot and deserves some attention.
I'm also happy to see devs getting the most out of this gen. Five years in is typically where a console like the PS3 and 360 will hit their true potential. Particularly the PS3 with its unique architecture. Full Optimization simply takes time and effort and we are finally seeing the full benefit of that this gen. This is a good time to game.
I'm saving Two Worlds for a playthrough in June - August. With Killzone 3, Dragon Age 2, Crysis 2, and Mass Effect 2 to play in the next few months I don't have time for a massive RPG on top of it all. Two Worlds will just have to wait until the slower summer months, but I look forward to it.
Sorry to hear EA is facing losses. Hopefully strong Dead Space 2 sales will continue and bolster their outlook.
Ya, this is a big one for PS+ subscribers. I look forward to it.
@ COMPUT3R
Yup. The Ps3 is packed with great features that any console could benefit from. An improvement of those features will come next gen and I look forward to all of them.
Funny article. I love that they at least acknowledge that much of this is just not happening, even though it would be cool. That is the great part of wishlists.
My own hopes for Xbox 720:
1 Terabyte HDD
Blu-ray Playback
Built in Wifi/Bluetooth
Rechargeable Controllers
Bluetooth Headset (having to take the controller with you to the kitchen to talk is ridiculous)
No disc tray, slot loading is much preferred.
...
Can't wait. Too bad Ps3 Black Ops gamers have to wait another month :(
Killzone 3 will help me though! So many games....
Yes, I will be. Not thrilled about parting with $15, but with so many friends on PSN playing I want to game with them.
Looks good. I enjoy zombie mode. My co-workers and I play during lunch.
Okay, CoD haters, now that I have said my two bits go ahead with your hate-speech. You know, cuz nobody ever relentlessly bashes call of Duty. Be original!
I don't regret being an early adopter. My 60 Gig original, now upgraded to 320 gig, is running beautifully and I love the full backwards compatibility.
Nice! Just showed this to my co-worker and he is getting it.
I'm excited to give this one a whirl.
I'm excited to see exactly what clock speeds Sony decides to go with. Balancing speed with power consumption is, of course, of primary concern, but personally I would rather go with higher processing power and less battery life.
That's just me though and anybody's opinion is valid.
The release of the 3DS will turn this around pretty quickly.
Funny Observation about the caps!
As for the article, I couldn't have said it better myself. As owner of all three consoles, an iPhone 4, and gaming PC, i send a lot of $$ (thousands of dollars) every year. Overall, even though my gaming PC was expensive to build ($1400) the games I have purchased have basically evened out that cost.
I got GTA IV $7.50
Batman:AA GOTY for $7.50
Clive Barkers Jericho for $1.69!
Dead Space for $10.0...
