^ 3rd world problems. Lots of people don't know how to pay "only" 60 dollars for a game. Or don't have the ways to do so.
I was about to buy it (and just sell it for a higher price if I don't like it), but I agree with you. This is a major bummer.

Also, the best part, this demo shows they have a ton of confidence in their game. Kudos!
People are quite satisfied with it in boards around the web.
It *is, but damned be the one who does it publicly.
1. He is popular, therefore it is COOL to hate him.
2. He is almost hysterical and yells a lot in his videos.
3. It looks like he aims towards younger people, so oh-so-adults folks HAVE to hate him.
4. He is successful doing something almost everyone here would enjoy doing in their way.
5. He has more money than all of us combined.
6. Bandwagoning.
So, #2 is a reason to dislike him. All the others call for for pure, dark, inner a...
Noice. Thanks again!
You do realize some very good game were made in Unity for the consoles, right?
Or is this just the usual flock following mentality?
Thanks for the insight.
How is the frame rate?
^ No problem, but these are usually thought as "a game that went wrong" and "a top notch game".
Apart from this untested recent update, the answer is no, it is not a good game by any way. It is actually a very bad game. It cannot be compared with awesomely designed games like Minecraft or Terraria. It is like comparing The Order with Uncharted ("if you like games with stories").
The "discovery" sense of each planet last only about a few seconds. You saw one picture of a planet, you saw it all. It is a giant game full of pure repetition.

It is bizarre that this is being explained in nearly every thread about this issue and some people are still trying to defend the "it doesn't affect you" absurd, as if the companies would just throw microtransactions there, without even touching in the game design to make microtransactions more "worthy"..
Jumpjump is the new dodge.
The gameplay is awesome, but come on... The vibe of the trailers couldn't be more distant of the game. It makes the game look like another CoD wannabe. So! much! swag! WAAAAAHHH
About the "we can just earn the currency ingame", in a game without microtransactions you would take one hour farming items to reach certain thresold.
In a game with microtransactions, it would take muuuuuuuch longer, for the reasons stated in the post above.
That's why today we all know they hurt the game quality to profit much more. Let's hope it doesn't work. I won't help. Used copy here and resell, no doubt. F*** them.
You're missing something here.
Their game design is done very profissionaly. This means not a single element is thrown there without communicating to the other elements.
Why does it care? Microtransactions are aligned with the game progression. The ONLY way they can sell a progression boost is by making players want it. And how do they do it? Screwing the natural flow of the game.
In other words, they need to make the progression sy...
Yeah, it means they screwed up game progression and loot.
Well played. They tried to make the game infinitely expensive, but actually made it cheaper to me. Will buy it used and resell it later. =)

Don't expose your ignorance in such an arrogant manner, bro.
"go to the store and buy a game" is different than "paying only 60 dollars anywhere".
Physical games are not 60 dollars a lot of countries. Nor are digital games...
Also lots of people don't have international cards to buy games at the US or EU stores.
Also importing fees.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
Edit: Destiny 2 digital has the pr...
