Using Heart of Darkness to condemn a glut of military shooters is in and of itself a stupid and generally irrelevant idea. It's hanging your own rotten childish narrative on much older and better story. It's just name dropping. Doing so with forced gameplay events proves nothing beyond the games creator's lack of trust in their own ability to make a player to reach a certain outcome for rhetorical purposes without forcing it to happen.

We don't know much yet. We know that it's FPS with character customization, always online, has exploration, and dungeons, something like magic or psychic powers, and it's a shooter. Then we saw some concept art.

That's not a lot to know really. It's still at the "here's our IP" stage.

Otherzinc it's an always online game. It's probably just going to have a client on the console and do most of the heavy lifting server side.

God of War is about as "mature" as [Protoype] was. It's an antisocial, power fantasy, gore-fest with a wrestler looking antihero protagonist.

Jim mainly does stunt reviews to shock people, and tantrum reviews that often have little to do with whatever he claims to have played.

Was Deadly Premonition what's you'd call finished and polished Jim? The driving, fishing, and shooting was good stuff? Not repetitive and amateurish or anything? The townie weirdo jokes were all funny and the characters seemed real and not based on stereotypes? The $25 package of crackers in a hotel vending machine that let you heal d...

I heard all this same crap before with the PS3. You ain't going to fool me twice. This is dumb fanboy garbage from a fake news site. And look at all the dumb fanboys falling for it just like they did last time.

Meerkat thinks in cartoons, like a child. Sad that this is so typical these days. Life is not like Captain Planet.

I didn't like heavy Rain and didn't think much of Walking Dead either. I didn't even like LA Noire much. Now what?

Daggerfall was a mess when it came out and took a long time to gte fixed if it ever was fixed. The Towns were lumpy and not very distinct from one another. Most of them felt randomly generated. I think Morrowind was overall probably the best one but Oblivion and Skyrim are still good stuff even if they have eben simplified and dumbed down a bit. I never played Arena though and did not care much for stuff like Redguard (more or less and action game) or Battlespyre (a diablo-esque sort of rogue...

343 put most of the the damned game's termnial cut-scenes that explained a lot of the backstory on Halo Waypoint (which requires Live gold)and then you unlocked them and had to download/stream them. This kept people without Live Gold or who didn't know or care about Waypoint from seeing them. They ended up on Youtube anyway but from all the confusion apparently nobody watched them.

THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE DAMNED DISC AND EASILY AVAILABLE TO EVERYBODY WHO BOUGHT A...

FF VII has themes about millennial angst, bio-ethics, nature vs. nurture, urban despair, corporatism, environmentalism vs. industry, poor vs. powerful, youth vs. tradition, spirituality, and extinction.

Sorry such a smart, well read, "adult" missed out on such obvious stuff.

Bioshock was an intellectually dishonest but heartfelt attempt to shake down objectivism (as glimpsed in Atlas Shrugged) as a grotesque sci-fi dystopia where the strong prey on...

Chris, 'decimate' is a rather stupid and dramatic word to use. Just say injure or kill. A common .22LR can "decimate" someone if it hits them in the right place. Any bullet from ANY firearm can. If you are trying to imply that a .223/5.56 round is more damaging to tissue than a round from a 'hunting rifle' that is laughably false. You will not 'blow up' a deer with a round from an AR-15 nor will you be able to fire it any faster than any other semi-auto rifle...

"Stupid story
tired gimmicky gameplay
no competitive multiplayer
overpriced "

That criticism applies equally well to God of War III.

Heavy Rain was awkwardly amateurish cinematic garbage. The story (writing and voice acting performance) was frankly stupid (the killer actually wonders who the killer is in internal "thought" monologue), the gameplay both gimmicky and tiresome trying to extend QTE into a hot steaming ...

I threw my Move crap away including that stupid rifle, and had no interest in sad crap like LBP Karting, Twisted Metal, or Battle Royale. The new SOCOM was just awful. Then I sold my PS3 too, and good riddance.

No two was awful. Three let you run a car with a bomb stuck to it into a tower and knock it down when you detonated it. Therefore it was great. Armageddon was mediocre.
