LOL I'm deceased 😂
You won't see the same passion about that as they were about this since it isn't a bullet point they can use against the competition. 😂
lol you've got to be joking, what do you mean by this?
"Everyone that trashed the devs, the game and the graphics/effects were suddenly happy they were free and hoping their favorite company snatch them up"
lmfao
Killer App the naysayers have been waiting for???
Also is the game still fun without the aim controller?
Do you play standing up or sitting down? [I ask this because I saw a gameplay video on youtube and he was playing while standing]
You'd be correct... if the article was arguing that MP isn't any safer than SP. It's arguing that SP games can still be successful too in today's climate.
MP is safer no doubt about that, but that doesn't mean that SP games are soo risky/not profitable that you start canceling your SP games in development because of it, like what EA did with that Star Wars game.
Good thing there still a good number of devs/publishers that still put out...
They could always do it after like what R* did with GTA5, albeit in reverse.
Although I don't mind action RPGs, it's good to see turn-based games getting good recognition.
Wish SE could do this for the FF7 remake
"so why not show us a uncomressed video like the video we are comparing it too"
Because that's not the reason why they release footage in the first place. They release footage for marketing purposes. The uncompressed video are from gameplay that gaming sites like ign, gamespot, etc. themselves played and upload. They're not going to craft another 10+ minute footage for the sake of dispelling unwarranted downgrade accusations especially when the game is rel...
Honestly feel the same way. Like yeah the game looks great and I'm getting it day one regardless, but there wasn't any 'WOW's for me.
Maybe it's because I'm not really into FPSs like that, but I don't think it being in 3rd person would have changed my impression though. The narrative and attention to detail was really impressive however, which is why I think I was able watch the entire 48 minutes. Usually with long demos I skip to the actual acti...
When will people learn that comparing attach rates only matter when the install base is similar across consoles?
When the install base gap is as significant as it is with the PS4 and XB1, you're literally penalizing the larger install base for not breaking all-time sales records for every games sold, which is what it would require for the attach rate to be similar to the smaller install base.
Eh, I don't get how you or anyone in this thread is not getting dejav.
Downgrade has been cried for almost all recent PS AAA exclusives. The culprit for the changes has almost always been change in time of day and compressed youtube footage which is what the guy says is the reason here. Look at 'downgrade horizon, god of war, uncharted, .etc' articles to see it's the same scenario.
And then when people get their hands on the game, they are...
Jesus, I read ALL the comments and it took until the bottom barrel to finally get the correct answer.
"When you have a smaller install base it's easier to have higher attach rates"
"How is Sony supposed to get attach rates that high? They need to sell 8 million copies just to get a 10% attach rate"
80% attach rate on the PS4 would have to sell like triple the world record of most units sold on a single platform lmao
"They have shown that power (in the right dev hands) does not detract from delivering a quality product"
1. Switch has already shown this, but this brings me to point 2...
2. While you are correct for 1st parties, how about 3rd party devs that want to utilize more power for their more ambitious projects? Make a weak console, all of a sudden Sony has solved it's biggest rival's biggest issue in exclusives as they will be getting them by default. Ga...
Darth,
It's all about having the option to get it physically if you want it. Gaming isn't at the point where movies are. For movies, streaming is FAR more convenient and cheaper for the consumer than getting it on disc. So you bringing up lack of a 4K blu-ray drive doesn't fly.
Omitting a physical drive would be bad idea just as it was for MS to have 24hr check in for XB1 in the initial reveal. Why would Sony attempt to repeat a mistake done b...
They should pack the 5 with VR in it.
VR going forward should be apart of the system not separate imo.
"They would be able to save some $$ by not having a physical drive."
Really? lmao What makes you think that this is even an actual possibility?
You're making suggestions and 'feelings' that just doesn't make sense for Sony to do.
" got a feeling Sony may make the PS5 a hybrid"
Impossible unless it's going to be weaker than the X, which the vast majority wouldn't want.
No way will Sony sacrifice power to make a hybrid. Like I've said in the past, the closest I see them doing a hybrid is by including a cheap streaming only device with a traditional PS5 system.
They could just make Vita 2 their true hybrid if they want to compete with Switch a...
Can't wait.
Actually liked the the way Lets GO looked until I heard there were no wild battles :(
So in the words of a certain someone. . . Sony called their bluff??? xD
Those who shall not be named are noticeably absent in this article, I wonder why? 🤔
@Duke_Mason_MD
It goes both ways. . . Why aren't you and others that were clamoring for crossplay so docile about Bethesda backpedaling now? Shouldn't you be just as upset as you were when they pointed the finger at Sony?
