Damn wow. From pushing a button to not so easy to implement.
Yeah they said that initially, but also made it seem like Sony was the only and major obstacle. Then when Sony changed their policy they said that there were other reasons besides Sony for why they couldn't do crossplay and that they have no idea if it ever will support it. Now they are saying it's a possibility again post launch and that it isn't simple to implement.
"Then, once it's done, they now come out and say it's not that easy and it will take a long time to get it to work"
Link? Because that would be way worse than what bethesda has done if true
They're all over the place with this lol
Really hope this is the case
Well that's true and a very good point, but at the same time I can take my time with this collection as well. Although KH3 is only a couple of months away I don't necessarily have to play it as soon as it releases either.
Wow, didn't even know that and of course I wouldn't as I didn't buy 2.8. A quick google search shows that 2.9 is the ending of 0.2 which was a part of 2.8... confusing stuff lol
SE is so f'd up for this lmao.
Glad I waited, knew all along that SE would eventually put all the KH games in one package, but there are those that thought this wouldn't happen and bought each remaster/re-release as they came out, I feel sorry for them.
Thought it would have been called 2.9 as well.
* * * "but we are about 4-5 years too late to save that poor horse. You think this is bad? Sheeeeeit, this is nothing. We had multiple articles a day about this stuff. And lord Father, what's even funnier is that before this place became the city of the blind, many of these very same hypocritical jokers had bionic enhanced eagle vision & could spot the differences with one eye partially open instantly! Back in a time where the differences were nowhere near as noticeable" * *...
LOL
It was only after the og PS4 came out that people here started clamoring for games playing the same and superior multiplats no longer mattering
WOW
See how amazing licensed games can be when given a legit budget?
Yeah all signs are pointing toward a 2019 release, though I'd prefer a 2020 or 2021 release.
lol sneakingly gives them a 2 year window for that (assuming it comes back next year)
Think after what happened with Scalebound Phil and MS learned it's best to stick with it and release it. The criticism they'd receive would be overwhelmingly great if they canceled this.
@Duke_Mason_MD
"Didn't you guys say crossplay isn't a big deal, that Sony shouldn't do it, that no one will use it, no one cares? Didn't you guys say this?"
I personally never said that apart from maybe that it isn't a big deal, but this isn't about crossplay. It's about putting the blame on Sony when they never had any concrete plans on actually doing it.
Crossplay actually happening isn't the ...

"Please point to the comments where I was outraged? Please link the comments where I pointed the finger at Sony?"
Just reread my initial comment, meant to say 'you guys' in order to reciprocate the generalization.
"Bethesda never stated they would implement crossplay for '76, they were only concerned with Elder Scrolls:Legends, is this so hard to understand or grasp or should we just start call...

"Please point to the comments where I was outraged? Please link the comments where I pointed the finger at Sony? "
I'll do so as soon as you link the comments of each and every individual here that said they didn't care before and are 'outraged' here. If you gonna generalize, I'll do so too thank you very much.
"First of all, this is stupid because Bethesda said they were looking into cr...

"It was a feature they wanted to explore but kept getting shut down by Sony so I'm sure they put it on the back burner for now."
This sounds familiar. . .
Didn't you guys say that excuse didn't fly when people brought up that Sony wanted to explore crossplay with consoles last gen, but MS gave their response and in turn this gen Sony played hardball or to use your term 'put in on the back burner for now&...
"It just goes to show that they were just low-balling to raise their perception that they are on the side of gamers (and Microsoft) yet they won't be offering cross play with their new game this year, or the early part of 2019 at least. They were caught out"
Funny how anyone who would make this claim prior to today would be called making up conspiracy theories and whatnot
Yeah, I agree looking back on it, if you take his words at face value that's all he meant.
But during that time everyone including media outlets took it to mean that Sony's policy was the sole reason it wasn't going to be implemented, but people were also misinformed about how easy or difficult crossplay is to implement as well.
