how did you get "they aren't happy with multiplayer" out of that article? all they did was outline the differences in play from the original
stop inferring your own biased opinion into the article, if you read it with a fully unobstructed view you cans ee that it doesn't say anything but neutral statements about the multiplayer
it is well documented that the world doesn't care about online petitions, i really any petition composed of xbox gamertags will help any cause
as for the cause of making games backward compatible, i believe microsoft said they were pretty much done updating the list and any games that would be added would just be offered as xbox originals?

got mine from some site out on the interweb, the game isn't as good as cod4 from what i can tell from the half hour i've played
just judging by the menus the game looks really polished aside from that you can't see anything
why would ms buy betas? they are restricted access and ms doesn't make money from them at all, your little story doesn't make any sense at all
the reason that live gets more multiplat betas is because the network is already set up and is basically a "plug and play" kind of thing unlike psn which requires a little more work on the end of developers

actually most of journey's back catalog should be on guitar hero just due to the incredible guitar moments in journey songs
band that have "real guitar hero moments" that should have more of an impact on guitar hero games, the song selection has been pretty poor when it comes to actually getting into and feeling the songs
the first guitar hero had some really awesome moments but now it is all about as many button presses as possible

actually UE3 is one of the best engines out there when it comes to utilizing normal mapping, and from what you are saying it is pretty clear you don't know what you are talking about
the reason the characters look that way is because they are modeled that way, that is the direction epic and their artists went, the engine has no bearing on the size/shape of the 3d models
all of those characters are created out of engine in a 3d packages like 3d max, maya, xsi, c4d etc...

as long as that works then this update is a success in my eyes, that is the only feature that has been missing since launch
honestly didn't expect this to make it, too many variables involved with studios and such
movie studios aren't ones to allow free views
updates are gonna be pretty dry until the new dash arrives
