logically how else would the orb system work? they aren't going to make it so you are directly connected to everyone on your friend list playing and eat up unnecessary bandwidth

the way epic is setup with their partners and licensees they have to share their new tech, which is why they got sued by silicon knights because they claimed they withheld info during the development of gears1 so first party titles would come out more respectable than those by third party devs, but judging from how too human finally ended up I just don't think that epic holding out was the biggest problem over at SK

not in the actual game lobby, i believe the post above was talking about listening to music with your friends in the new party lobby
but the sirius thing would be great, i have round 5000 songs on my pc and stream them on shuffle when i play but it would be nice to hear stuff that i didn't know about to expand my own horizons
or how about listening to howard stern while playing viva pinata? or while painting a car in forza 2 (the forza soundtrack is terrible)
