actually it is because the game is exactly the same on both platforms
and in my opinion equally disappointing on both platforms, I don't care for it at all so far, a poor reskin/mod of cod4 repackaged as a full game

fully agree, home and nxe aren't really trying to do the same thing there are two distinctly separate ideas going on there that have vaguely crossing concepts

there seems to be an odd lighting filter applies to the beta that makes everything glow so in short everything in the beta at least looks like that

i recall seeing a bioware guy talking about console possibilities a while ago and it just made me assume this was coming to consoles

it isn't really something you can avoid when the majority of the items in the level are the same material such as the same concretes and metals
adding a bunch of different colors turns it into a sloppy looking mess(refer to COD:WaW castle map)
the impact of the colors then pretty much just relies on the lighting
