Good. Seems like that’ll be something new & refreshing - barely any games have explored Arabic culture & history.

Does the Valve “we want to hire you” trick work twice!?

Switch & Splatoon are absolutely killing it. As always.

I believe you’ve answered the wrong comment - where did I mention his job or AAA games? 🤷

Making a VR game is already a huge risk.

But I guess indies have less to lose and more chance of being a viral success.

@Lore “ What 1st party or exclusive games have released over the past 18 months?”

Forza Horizon 5 - the highest reviewed exclusive title of 2021.

You do realize that UX designers don’t typically make games, right?

@S2Killinit

That is $13,999 Pesos - not US dollars. The MSRP is $14,999 ( https://blog.playstation.co... )

So not only is it in stock - it’s discounted!

@S2killinit It’s permanently in stock on Walmart MX:

You’re welcome.

Also in stock regularly on PSDirect in the US and stays in stock for a week or so.

Also the Companion Collection a few months back. Hopefully this is all in the lead up to an announcement and not just Valve cashing in on old IPs.

@neutralgamer1992 Yes, it won't instantly get better everywhere overnight - but this generation will go on until 2028-2030 - by then things will be better.

Plus like I said, PS5 is already sitting on shelves in some regions. So we're already getting to that point in some places.

@Shane Playstation doesn't have it's own stock/market cap, it's under the Sony stock symbol - same way Xbox is under Microsoft's. Sony is currently sitting at 91.47bn market cap. So PS will be substantially less than that number.

Yes, he is right to jump and join Tencent. Never said he said anything.

@Nyxus It is not anti-consumer, but does suck - but all companies have off years.

Anti-consumer is price increases everywhere etc. Those aren't off years and will stick with us.

There's literally a simulator for everything nowadays. This looks kinda fun though. A lot of the time the controls for these games suck on console though because they're made for PC / assume you have lots of keys.

1385d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Not that surprising though lol, even the XB1 sold 50m and it was a train wreck.

Longer term it may have some impact though, like if Sony continues being anti-consumer like they have been recently, I'm not sure I will buy a mid-gen refresh or a PS6.

Lets see, a lot can happen in a generation - and Jim Ryan might not even be around by that point.

"Microsoft exclusivity will naturally buckle CoD at the very least"
Good thing they aren't making COD exclusive then 🤷

"Microsoft isn’t even part of the main 3 now."
And yet, everyone refers to the big 3 as Nintendo, Sony & Microsoft. Weird.

"Microsoft will never be a main player in the industry"
Sorry, what? lol. It's clear to anyone they are already a main player in the games i...

They sure are licensing out a lot of Portal versions lately... hopefully they are trying to get it back in the limelight because they're going to announce a Portal 3.

If/when big companies like MS/Tencent/FAANG really start spending, Sony won't have the $$$ to compete. PS won't become irrelevant though - it'll just be bought up by someone like Tencent or Amazon.

Buying PS would be an instant way for a big tech corp to compete in the console space overnight and have established IPs - and it wouldn't be a huge expenditure for those companies, similar to or less than Activision.
